It amuses me to see people complaining when I've got almost 60 hours in the game and never once played with /vrg/ because I just hop on whenever. Game is exactly what I wanted from a VR shooter in that it's objective focused enough that it's not just mindlessly shooting and dying like a TDM, but also not so much downtime like SnD with it's zero respawns. My only complaints are that the Conquest maps are way too big for only 16 on 16, so I stick exclusively to Rush, and that some of the guns just suck like the LMGs and their high inherent spread.

LMGs are simply outclassed by rifles, the extended mag size doesn't matter when anyone who peaks where you're suppressing can simply just kill you because their recoil and spread is significantly less and the big mag size comes with the downside of very slow and finicky reloads while you can swap mags on a rifle in a quarter second. I used them enough to get all the upgrades, so I'm not coming at them from a position of ignorance but I never once had a rifle and wished I was had an LMG while I'd regularly wish I had a rifle when I had the LMG, especially the chink one which was way worse.

I do agree the AWP needs a significant buff, but I also am fine with sniping remaining a meme despite loving Recon for it's ability to enable pushes with a well placed beacon. I'd love to see Recon get the shotguns and maybe the MAC-10, but maybe not any of the stronger SMGs, so that you don't have to play as a Deagle main to not be useless outside of a couple of niche spots like behind A on the 3rd set of points on the Desert map. I'd also like to see the Talon capable of doing something against tanks, even if it's worse then the RPG, with how important killing both tanks and Blackhawks are now on the points that have them as well as not requiring me to suicide to switch after killing the Little Bird/Blackhawk that is left over from the previous points.

I don't know how you nerf rifles without then having to turn the SMGs into confetti cannons with extreme damage fall off which they already suffer heavily from. The fundamental problem is that Forefront's engagement distances are exactly where automatic rifles shine and the ones outside of those distances are CQC 98% of the time where they're equally at home. Sniper rifles fundamentally don't work with Rush's design principles, setting aside that unlike a flat FPS long ranged sniping is very fucking hard because you don't have something to help steady your aim where you'd brace the rifle IRL, and Conquest is a meme game mode that is going to get even worse as they introduce more vehicle powercreep to it.

I feel like the Rush maps encapsulate that feel pretty well, it's largely dude on dude combat with a single power vehicle to enable the attackers to push. The legs movements in rasputin are exhausting but that's about it, remembering the sequence is simple and the movement itself isn't that technical. If you look at the song listed as hard in my examples from May, there's stuff that is especially difficult in VR with the spins making you move across the room

Yes but not really. It's a really different approach to dancing and the instance's intent matters a lot.
There's little to no incentive to be able to do the routines properly, people put on random dancing videos and you try to follow them as best as you can. It's a bit more "arcade" but at the end of the day, you know that you won't do most songs perfectly + can choose to just skip or not go all out on songs you don't like much.
You could in theory put on an hardcore breakdance routine, but nobody would be able to follow it, and people might just wait for the next song if it truly looks impossible.

YosaVR sessions are a completely different mindset, the main goal is to be able to dance without seeing the videoplayer. Each move is dissected and needs to be remembered down to the vrc hand gesture (to be able to use the light gimmick), and some routines we might see would definitely be too complicated if put randomly in a pypy playlist (either due to unpredactibility of movements even if individually they aren't hard such as in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1274IRp6aI, or due to technicality of movements in VR such as https://youtu.be/Hr7lO6QoPeI?si=_ClFaOuq-etjsuh0&t=205 )
I also mention it as harder than parapara, because parapara routines only needed one session to learn.

Also just in case, I think pypy is a perfectly fine activity, especially since I used to join it for years, it just requires less commitment both per session and long-term.

When I was playing, my stats were increasing. My kill count, by what weapon, by headshot...but when I exited the game then re entered the game...exited as in shut the pavlov vr program down then restarted the game from my virtual desktop, the game did not have my previous statistics from my last Pavlov VR session.

all i can say is skill issue anon. i get quad or multi kills with the lmgs all the time. they arent innacurate at all, they just have more recoil than rifles so you have to PULL DOWN like in counter strike or pavlov.

lmgs are very balanced.
