I remember seeing an interesting map in VRC before I even got my first headset, but I can't find it.
It had a little "space craft" which was a disk with pillows on it and whatnot, and you could explore various spaces which sometimes looked like fractals or the inside of a star. Does anyone recall what this map was called?

Treehouse in the Shade is a classic to just chill while looking at cool skyboxes. Also, like someone said, Organism could be cool as a big map with eerie atmosphere and surreal views. PARTICLE SCREEN by AnkoRomochi-JP is a single room with a huge, well, particle screen that looks cool when warped by visuals though how good it is depends on what you put on it so it requires you to prepare some videos and you also need to be functional enough to put them on.

RVC2 requires a bit of processing power and a bit of personal autism to get sounding correctly. You'll have the best results by finding clean vocal samples that you like, cleaning them up, and then training the voice model yourself.

I tried one of those worlds and for a 500 MB download it didn't have very much in it at all
Attempting to do H3VR multiplayer mod in about 2 hours.
Tenatively, you can use the following code in R2modMan or any similar alternatives (I assume the latter, at least, but r2 for sure): 019ba511-e284-6691-b6bf-ce57f64c5a4f. This is just H3MP and a few map mods.
As for H3VR itself, to have the best chance of the mod working (seriously this was working flawlessly in early 2025 I had no idea the dev abandoned it until checking today), make sure to go into H3VR on steam, properties, beta, and set it to "update 18, U118 Legacy", the last version it seems sure that the mod worked for.
Hopefully it all works out. We'll be using the same mumble server that is used for NA assetto and such for voice chat, by the way:

Got this pic from the chill session last week.
I did some sanity checks on the performance of Mahjong tables. I just put 4 tables with 4 cpus each to do their stuff. Not the best method, but at least I was hoping to get some actual results before actually starting to work on any optimizations.
TileGun (6 tables): 120 FPS without any tables running. When 4 tables are running, performance drops as slow to 15 fps, but oscillates mostly around 20-30. No performance impact when just joining the table and not doing anything.
Rinshan (4 tables): Same as tilegun, except without any tables it runs around 140 fps.
Nakanishi (4 tables): Same as tilegun, but runs at 130 fps without any running tables
In all 3 maps with only aozora/aozora derivatives, the performance seems pretty much the same.

I finally sort of got it to work but not really.
I can play games but now the main issue is boundary size. It won't track the boundary for part of the room. Like the base station doesn't recognize the controller in 1/4 of the room. And when I play, the headset goes grey if I get close to the boundary. And the hand controllers lose tracking a lot (eg my hand will start floating and I can't control it).
This is the same room as I played in before with no issues (but I haven't played in a year). The base stations are in the same place. Idk maybe their angle is different but I don't think so, and if it is then what angle are they supposed to be?
Also this problem with tracking happens with both controllers and the headset. And when I was setting up the room with a controller, it seemed to track better if I held the controller up in the air instead of at the floor. Could there be a problem with the base stations themselves? Do I need to buy new base stations? How do I diagnose if one or both are bad?

Okay I give up, the Reverb G2 has to be one of the worst headsets ever made. Terrible peripheral vision. Terrible single-eye vision. Can't track its own controllers worth shit even in front of its own face. Controllers can block each other out and it does this a lot and often in any shooter. You need a meta account, which is not a Facebook account and also much less policed on setup, but that's only for the initial setup. If you want to use it purely for PCVR, you can just not connect it to the internet and either use a wire or a dedicated router that you connect to your PC. I've never heard of them being banned, they're just getting resold by people who upgraded to the Quest 3 or their kid stopped using it.

Boner works because it's largely just sandbox playground where random physics are the whole point of the game. In proper shooter with at least slightly threatening AI and non-abstract level design it would come tumbling down pretty fast. If anything best way to do cool actions in immersive way would be canned animations that are triggered by some motion QTE like Until you Fall or Bamham.

I think blaming it on the game being bad lets them off lightly. The traditional development cycle does not work for VR exclusives and they should know better, you're not going to get enough sales from VR marvelslop to make up for 3-4 years of development unless it's on a very small budget.
Meta might be able to justify keeping one subsidized studio around for a AAA system seller, which is probably why Camouflaj survived the purge, but the others were not worth the cost in their current state.

This really, both Deadpool and Asswrath were good games that sold well for VR games but by flat standards (and they had flat level budgets) those games were financial disasters. Same with Metro. Same with Behemoth. Same with every big name VR game. I'm pretty sure not a single of them actually recouped even half of the development costs. So the only way games like will happen again is if Zucc or Snoy feels like wasting money on seasonal system seller game. Sony has all but completely killed off their latest headset and aren't funding any more VR games.
Valve is making a headset designed around playing flat games and supposedly has no VR games in the works, which should be a pretty clear sign how promising they think VR is at this point.
Google and Samsung just want to fight Apple and make pseudo-AR headsets. None of them have any real interest in VR games.
Pimax just churns out hardware that continually misses the mark, other than throwing money at a couple of sims, they've never really funded game development.
As far as I know, Pico didn't really fund anything either, just picked up some standalone ports from Quest.
