"YosaVR" is the combination of "Yosakoi" and VR. Yosakoi is a (modern) japanese folk dance style, which often relies on using accessories.
With "YosaVR", we aim to actively learn dance routines; first we'll learn some actual yosakoi routines, but I'm planning to eventually mix it with other types of dances/songs later on.

While having all the capture points being perfectly balanced is a nice idea, I don't mind some of them being easier and harder to take and having a point/map where sniping is actually useful is a nice change of Recon only being useful for offense with a beacon and a deagle since the only one where it really currently is at all productive to snipe is maybe defending the driller if you set up behind A and don't constantly get parachuted on. Even with bad cover, Rush maps aren't going to allow the same cancerous long range one taps that a dude with a sniper rifle in the oil platform can produce because of the limited areas before you're out of bounds.

Honestly, if someone with an assault rifle starts shooting at you even at distance and is halfway decent with recoil control, they're likely to kill you before you two tap them with the .50 even, so I really don't feel like Recon is ever going to ruin the game unless you're so much better then everyone else that you could ruin the game with any weapon. Conquest is much more likely for you to randomly die to a sniper because enemies can be anywhere and the long travel time between points means dying is much more punishing, whereas Rush it's fine for a sniper to get a couple of tickets and make the opposing team have to slow their push to let respawns on a survivor as they bound from cover to cover.

The bolt action autist is genuinely one of my most hated /vrg/ posters of all time.

i dislike one shot snipers so much in video games, i love getting close to my opponents and outplay them with movement and better aim but theres niggers out there sitting 1 mile away on a tower or a bush spamming sniper shots in a choke point until they finally connect with someone and they think they are good like fuck that and fuck you

SVD recon already felt pretty viable to me on Rush, enough that you don't need to rely on the deagle. It got a buff to the >75m damage too so it's even better now.
I rarely see anyone use them but there are some nasty spots where you can overwatch the bomb on nearly half of the points on Siberia/Mauritania, they just come with the risk that they're harder to set up in than a bush at the back.

I enjoy setting up with the .50 on one of the supports on the front of the bridge because no one ever looks there and killing people storming the beaches on the first point of Siberia, but it's a much worse time now they've added functional kill cams so people just respawn and kill you. I see no reason to use the SVD over the .50 personally since it's still going to be a 2 tap at best and the .50 is so much more damage that it's easy to secure a kill on people who've taken a single bullet from one of your teammates, but I'm also just not a huge sniper enjoyer so ymmv. Gay Goblin literally just ripped the implementation from WiVRn which uses the screen in three slices encoded at different bitrates (and on Linux possibly even at different codecs) that shift around with eye focus. Ran it tonight during Walkabout on my XR, cranking down from my normal 264+ at 300mbps to like 150, and when it was working properly, I didn't notice any downgrade in visual quality at all. I did have a couple of times where it seemed to lose my gaze and I'd look down at the ball to see it very blurry, which is part of the reason I knew it was working, while another region was in focus when I flicked my eyes over to it, but I can't say whether that's on VD or the XR for sure. I think we largely agree. I knocked the AK out of S because it does have a slower TTK then the M4, swapped the shotguns because I think the pump is just way too inconsistent with shortshucking and also shell by shell reload is painful compared to a mag, and prefer the P90 as my bullet hose of death instead of the MAC-10. I do think you undervalue the importance of the revive paddles though, largely because of retards who just spam them for points and you get mowed down instantly. The ability to take a trade and then keep pushing/defending without having to wait for a respawn is genuinely one of the most game winning things, especially if you get a rez on someone who's not in your squad and can't spawn back on you but instead can be a spawn point for their squad. New bolt is probably alongside the .50 or maybe one tier below, AT mines are a meme but if you use them like AT nades and just chuck them at a tank they're at least a way to have an answer to armor while running the Talon so probably C to D, and claymores are even more of a meme that cost you your nade so D to F.

You can still talk with your live team in breachers after you die, and you can see enemies/gadgets/bomb defuse thing pop up if they're in a live player's vision and mark stuff on their hud. So it's not totally passive. I do like pavlov dead all-chat too though. Would be nice to have as an option in breachers.

If you live alone or don't have other people pushing massive amounts of bandwith through the router, you can probably get away just fine with a decent router if it's wired to your PC and in the room, but if you have family/roommate streaming Netflix or whatever that'll probably cause problems.

Foveated streaming means you need to push significantly less bitrate for the same effective visual quality. Just testing on my XR, I was able to go from 300mbps to 120ish while moving up to 90 FPS from 72 and still not notice any loss of visual quality. If you want something now, a used Q2 is cheap and you can probably resell for most of what you paid when the Frame releases, or you can just accept that you're paying a couple hundred dollars at max to rent a Q3 if you'll resell it when the frame releases.
