What is this?
A celebration of anon’s varied groups and activities.
For one day /vrg/ turns into a full blown school festival, with rooms, booths, attractions and little corners of chaos all hosted by the different groups and friend circles around the community.

Come wander the grounds and visit what anons have cooked up.
Games, exhibits, hangouts, performances, themed rooms, comfy spots, weird ideas, good ideas, dumb ideas made real.
The whole point is to let every part of /vrg/ show its face and make something fun for everyone else to enjoy.

If you’ve ever wanted to host something, decorate a room, run a booth, make a club attraction, show off your group’s gimmick or just contribute to the general festival atmosphere, this is the event for it.
Big or tiny projects, polished or scuffed projects, they all have a place in a school festival.

This is both a social event and a showcase.
A chance to see what all the different corners of /vrg/ are up to, meet people you don’t normally bump into and enjoy an entire map full of anon-made activities all in one place.

Specially if you are currently or have hosted weekly/monthly/occassional events before and currently!
COME AND SHILL, Grow your club, Entice another anon to try what you love doing!

I will distribute 3 template types:
1) Classroom (2x1, 3x1, 2x2, 3x2, 4x2, 7x1 sizes)
2) Outside Booth (more freeform size)
3) Gymnasium (single toggle)
You'll be free to decorate within these templates

We have A the demon anon willing to create a uniform for /vrg/ first fit for shinano then we just mochifitter it to other bases

I was browsing unity assets I apparently bought 4 years ago in some humble bundle. This was one of them, "Meadow Environment Dynamic Nature". It's pretty nice. You can look at it (or other scenes) in VR by downloading the XR Interaction Toolkit and its samples, dropping the XR Origin prefab in the scene, and hitting play. Which is essentially the same as adding the vrchat SDK and adding a world descriptor yes, but this way you don't have to figure out how to backport it to BRP and the scripts for incidental effects still work without vrchat stripping them on upload. No anime grills though. Still inspiring that going from zero to "single player VR walking sim" is like 5 minutes of work these days.

The render distance on the grass is still disappointing for nature scenes, and the road shader hovers above the ground (like I've seen in other vrchat worlds probably using similar assets). Probably can't do much better in straight unity unfortunately. I did try importing the scene with unidot too but the terrain detail (all the grass) doesn't work out of the box sadly.

Afterwards you can get your healthy drink on of, veggie smoothies, protein shakes or herbal teas (not that we'll know what's in your cup on your end) as we check out some gyms and health and wellness places to cool down and stretch off.

Is the Quest 3 wireless good for Sensory Overtaking experiences? I feel the latency is causing cognitive Sensory issues compared to using a cable to keep the experience stable during spatial movement in the sensory overtaken experience.

This map is a reupload but it's moon week thanks to nasa so this one is worth a look. It's the cyberpunk moon map, you get to go to residential, get a moon kit, and then go out onto the moon and recreate your favourite moon scenes.

This one appears to be entirely self-made, and is a nice asian-themed bamboo map. It lacks the polish of more experienced map makers but it's great for something self-made. Cosy mirror+video player areas dotted around the map for the most popular vrc pasttime. Watching youtube videos.

Wireless as an actual problem is a problem of bandwidth and latency. If you encode the entire frame you have to compromise on quality to get the frame to fit in the bandwidth and to have the latency low enough to be responsive. Pretty good. Would recommend. VR controls are pretty standard and fluid as you'd expect for a point and click game from 1993 getting a vr remake. The walkabout minigolf map of it is also pretty nice but contains mild spoilers for the game's puzzles.

They definitely tampered with movement speed and in general removed things that could move you around along with some extra stages, starting axe is weirdly overpowered with the blocking and enemy count is lower, the game just feels too easy but also jumping puzzles are harder because of the movement speed changes. Don't get me wrong, it's still good game but it doesn't feel as fun to play as flat.

Everytime I've tried using ALVR or WiVRn on my Arch or Cachy installs the colour accuracy has been far inferior compared to Virtual Desktop, has anyone else had these issues/knows a fix to this? This alone makes me rarely ever boot into my Cachy install because of how much I use VR.
