I've talked about it before but part of the reason I don't advertise more personally is because I enjoy the group that shows up now and the smaller 15-30 size is pleasant. When I advertised more and NA was more alive as a timezone 2 years ago and we'd hit 40+ people regularly and 30+ of them would be standing in spawn talking for the full duration of every map because the instance would hit critical mass an turn into the "hangout" instance that would pull people in who had no interest in participating by gravity of being the biggest instance of the night. If I wanted to minmax the event population I'd move it to a better day and advertise it much more aggressively and probably host later. Not that I would complain about more people but I have zero complaints about the current size.

To be honest I'm actually a fan of the giant fuck off RP maps. The gigantic Callous Row/Neon Divide rp maps and the gorillion source maps are a guilty pleasure of mine. I appreciate when the world creators of larger maps put the friend teleporting prefab in them to alleviate those issues though and sometimes I'll avoid the giga maps because I know some hate them. If I could choose between small-medium maps or 3 hour autism expeditions into the heart of 20 fps ohio hell I'd steel my heart and dive head first into the shithow every time though those worlds are obviously few and far between.

Other than that, you can try using 91% or higher isopropyl alcohol VERY CAREFULLY to break it down and scrape it with a plastic card or something.
Maybe like, put enough alcohol on a rag so that it's damp but not soaked/saturated and hold it on there a bit? Please be careful of that gap. Maybe drain the headset battery first or power down?
Magic eraser with A LITTLE alcohol may be super helpful, too. Fucking love those things- helped a ton when I moved in to a place where the previous tenants smoked indoors.

Performance and quality. Performance is an obvious one, i'm sure (You) saw tons of worlds that would barely run and look like shit but then you can see your own shadow, those are realtime only light. Half the time it's unusable even in simple scenes. But just as important, baked light looks far better than dynamic realtime, a 10min long render with multiple light bounces and whatnot gives vastly superior results to something that tries to figure out light 120 times a second.

I have discovered my biggest annoyance with Exfil PvE. Bosses are absolute niggers who're going to be a major threat, shred your armor, and maybe kill you, but unlike Tarkov bosses, they drop almost nothing themselves that's worth the hassle of dealing with them. Tarkov bosses at least drop a couple of mags of good ammo, have guns worth stealing, sometimes their armor is repairable, and backpacks with normally some pretty good stuff that make dealing with them and their goons a worthwhile endeavor, even outside of being able to loot whatever area they're in. Meanwhile, my reward for killing the nigga in the bank on Resort was like 12 rounds of AP ammo, and gunfire attracts way too many scavs to even stick around and try to loot the place unless I bring a change of armor after him and his goons with AP ammo damage the shit out of mine during the fight. Still very fun on the whole, but so many low hanging fruits that could be fixed to make the experience better.

It's because a couple of wipes ago, when they added resort, there was 3 bosses all around the bank. You could also put ammo in your secure container.
people would run in with a pistol or a krink or some shit, with 2 mags in their container, mag dump the boss, swap into his armor, and extract/loot rest of the map.
their fix was to make the max durability on scav-dropped armor random, with a higher chance for it to be lower on bosses.
again, shouldn't be applied to bosses/scavs in PVE. It was a fix to stop the naked-runner meta bullshit.
It always takes them a wipe to figure this stuff out. Like last wipe you could put keys in secure container, so a not insignificant portion of the player base would just spawn in with keys, hope they spawned next to the vault they want, loot it and suicide.
If you were actually running around the map you'd find empty vaults with a dead idiot in them 90% of the time.

Yea, I've just started feeling confident enough to start hitting vaults regularly instead of being worried about dropping my keys when a nigger sprays me down with a G3, but mostly the ones that are probably low value like the motel rooms, resort hotel + skate shop backroom or the floor 2 hospital, and the west inlet tower on my way to the factory, in part because you can barter/buy those keys and so if I do drop them, it's not a big deal.

I need to get comfortable with smuggler's tunnel next since it does seem like I'm starting to get missions there, but it's just a fucking warzone most of the time and before I had consistent access to class 5 armor beyond the white Russian set, which gets shredded way too easily, I was always at a risk of just running into a scav who could 2 tap me to the chest through a Rampage. I wish the AI PMC bots they throw in would have armor worth swapping to if I kill them with headshots, but they have the same degraded stuff that the scavs do which means that I have to either get lucky with finding armor on site or bring a second set, and either way I've got to dick around with swapping all my pouches. The map not working is also a nice little fuck you to people trying to learn the layout since you can spawn fucking anywhere it seems,

The door artifact mission felt like fucking Fallujah. Surrounded by buildings with black windows staring out at me like the eyeless sockets of a pile of skulls. An RPK behind every blade of grass. Can't look up or you might step on a landmine. Can't look down because you might step into a killbox. Can't look left because there's a guy on your right. Can't look right because there's a guy on your left. Can't run backwards because there's only open ground. Can't run forwards because you can hear them ahead. Can't take cover because they're silent in the buildings. Can't stay still because the cube is coming.
But I did it. 300 rounds of 7.62x39 and 50 of 00 buck. Dozens of syringes. 2 cans of pineapples. All 3 objectives. 1 attempt. 0 deaths. Physically exhausted from feeling so high strung the entire time. Thank god I had the foresight to stash crates of supplies at a nearby safe house.

I can believe it, but also that's part of the fun. The hyper lethality is what makes it tense and interesting, I just wish that it wasn't so easy for it to devolve into just attrition where I've spent most of my ammo and all my armor dealing with the 15 scavs that killing was pointless because they just keep fucking spawning, and none of them had anything worth a damn except half a mag of ammo each. For all my bitching, the gameplay loop is very addictive and I enjoy the hell out of it, it's just pretty clear that they just took the PvP, disabled player spawns, and called that the PvE mode without any ideas about balancing the number of scavs and their respawn frequency with the significantly reduced player count.

What is this?
A celebration of anon’s varied groups and activities.
For one day /vrg/ turns into a full blown school festival, with rooms, booths, attractions and little corners of chaos all hosted by the different groups and friend circles around the community.

Come wander the grounds and visit what anons have cooked up.
Games, exhibits, hangouts, performances, themed rooms, comfy spots, weird ideas, good ideas, dumb ideas made real.
The whole point is to let every part of /vrg/ show its face and make something fun for everyone else to enjoy.

If you’ve ever wanted to host something, decorate a room, run a booth, make a club attraction, show off your group’s gimmick or just contribute to the general festival atmosphere, this is the event for it.
Big or tiny projects, polished or scuffed projects, they all have a place in a school festival.

This is both a social event and a showcase.
A chance to see what all the different corners of /vrg/ are up to, meet people you don’t normally bump into and enjoy an entire map full of anon-made activities all in one place.

Specially if you are currently or have hosted weekly/monthly/occasional events before and currently!
COME AND SHILL, Grow your club, Entice another anon to try what you love doing!
