i played pavlov in a vr arcade with 9 of my friends, and i liked it so much that i bought a new PC and a vr headset. How do I setup a brand new goyquest 3 and what advanced settings should i learn about? The best way is to have a decent, but dedicated router/wifi acces point connected via ethernet to your PC. Then use SteamLink (free) or VirtualDesktop (paid, has more settings, people swear by it). USB cable still sends compressed video, but it can shave a millisecond or two (out of 50-80) compared to WiFi.

OVR Advanced Settings is an opensource app paid on Steam or free on Github, which includes little usefull utilities and playspace mover (usefull for adjusting yourself on chairs/uneven ground in vrchat).

I've just about completed my prototype project of putting Apollo 12 PDI onto a VRChat avatar. It connects Orbiter with the Project Apollo addon to VRChat using OSC. Everything in the cockpit is intractable on some level. The switches, knobs, DSKY and DEDA are physbones that can interacted with by other users. Only the circuit breakers are local only. The position and rotation of the LM is synced and shown through the window as well as the FDAI. Important gauges and the DSKY are synced on their own, the rest go through a bus. That used most of the 256 synced bits on avatar. The TTCA and ACA(joystick and throttle) are custom steamvr manifests that connect to Orbiter a different way. They control very similarly to VTOL VR. Learning how to fly this thing took a lot of time, and trial and error. Lots of very confusing terms and a very old program to deal with. Its hard to tell but I was struggling with my controls in the video. Its not a simple throttle and stick to say the least. The AGC autopilot does a very good job right up until the last 500 ft. For the most part, I've been using the automatic checklist, now that its mostly working I'll try memorizing the checklist and trying to land at somepoint. This thing really needs two inside to land it. Perhaps if you are interested in study sim autism, you probably know where to find me.

Watching the landing videos after learning so much about the landings makes it feel really different. Hearing the callouts for stuff and being like "oh yeah i did that". Again I was struggling with the autopilot, trying to "redesignate" the landing spot. Unfortunately VRChat captures the left eye, but you can see the marks on the window indicating the degrees, thats the LPD(Landing Point Designator). Its pretty much a primitive HUD. Having a second person reading out the DSKY to give me the angle for the redesignation would be pretty handy.

Last thing I'll say is that claud did a very good job of generating a bunch of the code for this. Since Orbiter is open source, it can just read the code and figure where to plug stuff in. Still a lot of back and forth testing and seeing what works or doesn't or hunting bugs. Maybe ill throw it on github.

That's a balance problem because modders pick the shittiest mods for their packs. Stamina needs to be tied to damage dealt even if it sounds like it feels bad in VR. It's an RPG so if you take out resource management you will be left with pure waggleslop.

No, it doesn't. There is more than just these things which try to pace frames evenly when failing to maintain target framerate. It's also pointless and harmfull to try to disable as it might produce rotational delay and motion sickness. Steam VR will do async reprojection and leave FPS unlocked if you are just slightly below FPS target, but will lock you into integer divisions if you are missing the mark by quite a bit. It will free frame only at VERY low FPSes. I'm not sure about other runtimes but it will do similar things, and for good, tested reasons.

Broken shader. Check your materials again and make sure they're actually the mobile standard lite or whatever. Also check fx layer isn't changing the material to a non-android one in an animation. You can probably just delete the fx layer for the quest fallback one anyway.

I think he means damage wise more than anything. The skyrim stealth archer is by miles the most effective and broken playstyle. I've always been a conjuration + heavy armour + two handed weapon kind of guy though. Does anyone know how I would animate a bone transform (rotation in this case) through an animation? I have an animation that is "married" to my face mesh (i.e. I can only edit it when I click the face mesh). When I click "record" and try to move the ear bone, it cancels the recording and clicks out of the animation.
