I run 90hz at VD's Godlike settings with AV-1 encoding at ~100mbps with foveation and zero issues from the headset, though that's still sub-native iirc. Playing games, I don't have any issues maintaining 90 frames though I should test ITR2 at some point. VRC-wise, I'm normally CPU bottlenecked before I become GPU bottlenecked but looking at my frame times, I can be in a room full of ~50ish people with maybe 15 unoptimized avatars shown and still hitting 10 to 12ms frame times on the GPU, but 20ish on the CPU which gives me like 50fps which is what it is in VRC.

I also tried out the Steamlink APK that's been hacked together from the Pico version, and that was getting me 90fps at a substantially higher observed resolution in Walkabout, but it has some issues with controller switching and such, so other then a quick hop into the Avatar Testing World in VRC where I was also getting 90fps, I haven't played with it much.

Just tried it out for the first time and it was great. The video quality is like night and day, and even more importantly: the decrease in latency is extremely noticeable.
My shitty wlan connection has a base latency of about 60ms, and it sporadically jumps to 500ms+ which causes stuttering and makes fast-paced games like Racket Pinball unplayable.

Turns out the dongle's usb cable has exactly the right length for the unit to sit inside the loop where the overhead strap meets the horizontal strap, and it fits in there very snugly when I wear the headset.
No additional fastening seemed necessary desu, but I'll make it a habit to fasten the ethernet cable somewhere to my clothing or the headset when I play non-seated games, just in case.
