Any of you guys that have successfully ported CM3D2 models over to VRChat care to share your knowledge and how you went about it? I've tried a few different things at this point and even pretty much broke the entire thing at one point and had to start from scratch.

I have a fully clothed character right now, doesn't show anything revealing. Does this mean that I don't have to delete any lewd parts? The nipples aren't underneath the clothes or anything, right?

Theres a plugin I posted over in /h/. It's really easy to use. Just put your maid in T pose and export.

You don't have to delete your lady bits but it will really help with decimation. I highly recommend you do it. They are the densest areas with tri's.

I have the same issue with my dance animations. I'll do a flip and my head will stay in place. Only thing I can think of to solve that issue is to have the emote trigger on a separate, hidden, avatar that actives when you trigger the emote. If you see this person DON'T go into the private world portal it drops. This reminds me of a girl I was friends with when I first started playing VRchat. I was in Gaia Night and saw only one person in the world so I decided to look for them. As I got closer to the cave I heard a girl counting to 4 but struggling to do so and she would almost always mess up and start over but each time her voice would get louder and audibly more frustrated to the point she would raise her voice. Then she would slowly say "No... no... NO.. NOOOO!!" and you could hear like a thumping as if she was hitting her desk with her hands or her head. She would do all of this while staring into the back wall of the cave and it gave me chills so I added her as a friend. Randomly I'd pop into her worlds and if she was at the pub she would be in the bathroom doing the same thing or at the suburban house in the closet upstairs. I haven't seen her on in a while but man was it spooky.

Just ordered myself one of these. Anyone ever use something similiar? The Rift foam isn't bad but it attracts hair too easily.

Anyone see a problem before where porting over an MMD model into Unity gives you a big ball of random mesh data around the regular mesh? Like it looks like garbled information or something. When I go into the mesh's settings and set normals to "none" instead of "import", I see basically a duplicate of the model except a small distance away. What's going on? Please help.

Isolate the arm bone and the Rope only.
Make into Wire frame mode.
Highlight all of the rope. Assign weight of 1.00

There. Weight paint mode is kinda finicky if there are hidden vertices.

Not them, but I've been using a dynamic bone script for the entire chest that someone posted in a video guide. Makes both breasts bounce nicely, and gives the collar around my character's neck a nice bounce, too.

PSA: import .blend files into Unity directly rather than exporting FBX files. Blender's FBX exporting does bad things sometimes to your model. However you will have to assign your materials manually.

Assuming you just want a standard rig modelled after that without anything too fancy or unusual, probably around 70-120 dollars depending on who you ask and how detailed you want it. Can really start to go up if you need the sword made too. There aren't a lot of people who take commissions for 3d models but you can check out the polycount forums for different kinds of people looking for potential work, I got a commissioned model on there at one point.
