seems that most of this sort of thing stems from most of /vrg/ being lonely men who crave affection, and as such that manifests itself as crushes on someone who plays a female avatar you find relatively attractive, or who is fun to hang out with, with a sort of dissociation between the virtual fantasy and the reality that there's a dude voice behind it. (some of vrg might be bi though, or at least sufficiently desensitized by too much hentai/porn to become bi)

realtalk though, this is also probably the truth about the proteus effect. And why the moment a /vrg/er gets vr they become a turboslut. Its the same sort of craving for affection which turns into lewdness. Kind of like someone who is desperate for affection irl who might sleep around and be a slut, not because they are a slut but because they crave affection and attention.

Make sure lefteye and righteye are chosen for your eyes under the head rigging. If they are it's the eyeshine itself is weighted, but not the actual eye vertex group. To check this easily look at a pre-atlas model and make sure you have the eye material selected, if you just click the mesh itself you're probably selecting the eyeshine. The only real issues are overpopulation ones and people not naturally filtering once we're at 40+. Especially now that the maps are giving hard caps on players kicking them into public versions or the hub if they try and join too late.

If dance crew wants to dance, instead of dropping a portal to herd everyone in, go to a map you like and invite the people you know like to dance. Anyone you miss that wants to will probably join on you or one of the others once they notice you're in a club world. Then instead of having 50 people and 5fps you'll have 15-20 and reasonable fps and the people who weren't interested in doing that aren't trapped in a map with system volume at 0 for 3 hours. It's happened naturally a few times, but I think more conscious effort probably needs to be made there.

People also need to not feel compelled to join a portal to a world they don't like just because a bunch of other people went in already. Heard a lot of "tiz sucks" last night but everyone still went in, and then that one song kept playing somehow so everyone left anyway
