Reposting my issue, for the faint hope someone knows how to solve my problem.

I've tried fucking anything at this point, and I figure I might as well just post this here:

I want to add a Property to an animation.

Every time I do, it simply doesn't fucking happen.

And it always only fucking happens when I try to add the Property into the hand/wrist hierarchy, I can put it on the forearm, the shoulder, fucking anywhere but the hands, and that stops me from adding any items into my hands.

Been posting this on the official Unity forums, and it seems like I'm literally the only one on the entire internet that has this issue.

It's not a bug in the Unity version I use, I've tried several versions with the same issue.

Can anyone tell me what the fuck's going on before I rip my hair out?

Is there anything unique you have to do to get sound working in an emote as opposed to a gesture override? I just can not get this sound to work for whatever reason. I've tried having the animation activate the Audio Source gameobject, and having the Audio Source gameobject already active within an inactive blank gameobject and having the animation enable that instead, and neither works.

Both methods had the sound successfully play when testing locally, so I don't know what to do.
