I honestly don't find it that bad, a bit shocking and maybe a twinge of "oh drat", but not enough to dislike a person or anything. It's not like going to the dance in the same dress or anything.
Plus, at this point I've done enough to the model in terms of gestures and edits that I'm quite confident of it being different enough for my liking.

Ditched dynamic lights for fully baked lights with light and reflection probes. Fixed occlusion culling but not sure what the impact on performance is like with all the light and reflection probes i have, hopefully it runs just as good as before and it should look a lot better now, specular reflections work now too.

If I go to random worlds I might see a few of my kind but lately with the influx of easier tools and people becoming better at blender I feel like elsword models are old goods. Anon the trick is to believe in yourself. Pushing past beyond what you thought once was an impossible task and finish something you can be proud of.

Creating a character, even if it's not a fully original one, is a treat in of itself. Also don't try to rush these things, take an actual month to make something. Eventually piece by piece it'll get done and won't feel so rushed or patched.

It also helps if others are excited to see the finished model as well.

What's the point of animation state machines and playmaker (which apparently is a "visual scripting language for unity")? Why not allow arbitrary (after review) scripting in a text programming language? Is the non-turing-completeness of FSAs just easier to moderate in terms of allowing user-generated content? I have two zotac 1070 tis for... non-vidya purposes, and compared to the MSI and Asus 1070 tis I have, they run at ~85% the performance of the Asus (gigantic 3 fan RGB LED bullshit), and ~95% of the MSI cards (TWIN FROZR gamer bullshit). Also around 8C hotter temperatures since the heatsinks and boards are so compact, in similar environments.

They certainly still work fine though, even OC'd lightly. I think the big manufacturers like Asus just get first dibs on binned silicon, leaving the dregs to zotac. If you don't care about gaymen LEDs, top-tier binned power efficiency (or if you have a small case that won't fit those fuckhuge asus cards) they seem good enough.
