I haven't had to do any niggrigging to my setup for it to function as expected. Admittedly I take frequent breaks in VR. The longest I tend to go without taking the headset off is an hour, give or take - I can't really speak to how the adapter holds up after that, but I can't imagine it gets any hotter.

The one drawback though is it can be a pain to wear cans with the thing. I use ATH-MSR7NCs and they're only just barely comfortable. Pic related is the headband of them for reference - I have to wear them at a bit of an angle, but not so much so that it's uncomfortable. Any more thickness on the headband and you might have problems.

The gateway to desdemona meetups is through VR dreams. If you ever have a vr dream you will go to meetups where you know everyone but they aren't the people from these meetups. If you're mute you will talk if you're a voicie you will be mute.
How to make the swap.
Having a VR dream whilst in VR where you go to the desdemona meetup then when in the desdemona meetup fall asleep and have another VR Dream , a VR Dream inside a VR dream inside VR, this will put you through to the NA meetup in that VR Dream. Now you just need to be woken up in the real world and your base timeline will be the desdemona timeline.
