im not sure there's a simple tutorial anywhere,
but if your goal is to reload a gun, then what you could do is make the animation eject the magazine on the gun prop, (or at least just disable it) and the same animation make another magazine spawn in your hand that you can then move to the position, and have it therefore "lock" in when you release the gesture

so tldr, tick disable on the gun's magazine, and tick enable ton the magazine prop in your avatar's hand.

that's the simplest way to do it.

A lot of unique, outstanding individuals in this world never get recognized for their talents and efforts despite working their hardest. Or, they want attention too much, and don't bother working on their craft. In either path, a lot of people just fall stagnant and lifeless. It's no wonder people act with bitter narcissism when their lives have come up short on positive results, and their only social connections are homosexuals masquerading behind flat 2D girl chests and bump-mapped mosquito bites. Once you drop the veil and make your engagements personal, you aren't dealing with faceless Anons, but with Jack and Jill who have real thoughts, feelings, and problems. I don't think most people are equipped to work with that real drama without destroying the field of anonymity and peace around them. Look at all the people in the thread namedropping and publicly listing sound clips directed at specific people. It effectively turns it into Reddit. That is entirely against the spirit of anonymity, and why generals will always crumble at some point. That is my opinion, at least.

I would beg to differ. Threads like these are smaller, and the engagements cannot float off of passion alone. Most threads like this do end up interconnected and most anons know each other, /vrg/ was just an anomaly because we started with VRChat. The line was destroyed day one, we have been a strange thread that tries to juggle its anon in the thread and group activities outside of it. I don't think it is a bad thing though, there are a limited number of anons who can afford VR, are physically adjusted to it, have the time to do it, or just the general motivation to do anything VR. We have been in a "lifted veil" status for a while, and it creates problems, but the anons who continue to play in VR daily will keep things alive. Just wish we had less newfags and more who respected the thread as the ground for anonymous discussion instead of jamming agendas in there or getting angry because they see the same anons who play games post here.

I suppose I'd be considered something of a newfag, since I've just come by a few times months apart several times. From my perspective, I don't think it's a problem if the same anons post. I think the issue comes when, as you said 'agendas' are pushed or personal groups are hedged into the spotlight 24/7. It's the same issue as tripfagging on another board. People shouldn't be namedropping or trying to make constant publicly identifiable posts about themselves or their personal social groups. It's going to happen anyway because attention whores exist all over the planet. Just look at the last few posts, with the avatarfagging and low-key erping. It's unfortunate, but it's unlikely to end. One thing I love about space engine is how easy it is to jump between VR and Desktop mode play seated at my desk but if I want to set up a screen shot or use some of the more advanced UI menus I just hit menu and exit VR. I will get dropped in oculus hom with my virtual desktop on flat mode. when done open display setting flip to VR and the game drops me right in

It can be claustrophobic. In the regular game, a standard strategy is digging a 1x2 tunnel. In VR, it feels AWFUL to be in a small tunnel. Same with building a 1 block wide tower to see far, it just feels bad in VR.
