It's not a map I've played before. Strange map though. Feels like that tight hallway with the dropdown towards the statue site should be the meeting point of rushes. Lots of interesting parts of that map just don't get used because of how long it takes to get there. Granted every round was a complete meat grinder so you'd probably see them circling around, we just never got the chance.

Alright anons, it is time for Workshop yet again. Things have been going smoothly for the night shift of shop. Creates a better opt in opt out for working or playing through the day. The idea of lessons being mulled over has been spread around enough that anons who would like to do teaching, have heard. Some are interested in doing it, but like many things, the initiative falls short on motivation. The VR Drought has been strong, summertime hits hard, but anons still want to play VRChat at the very least. Job wise trying to free up more time to host games, but employers will always try and "more free time, nah". Hope to get a game of the forest or something like it going again schedule freed up of course. No Man's Sky VR might be good if it comes out. Sunk into the feet or even below the floor, yes. It's possible the legs are too short, but that's uncommon unless you tried to fix it before. Arm span should be about the same as height, and the hip bone should be half way up the body so torso+head = legs. If you do those first, then adjust based on where the balls are for your exact proportions. Don't make the mistake of making the arms and legs way shorter than they should be so the torso is too long.

Today's climbing map looks like it came out of that one episode of Teen Titans, you know the one.

It looks really pretty, in any case. Had lots of fun getting up this FRUSTRATING mountain.

There's these little checkpoints along the way, I believe it's 4 in total, with 3 and 4 being the most bullshit.

This is the jump leading up to the top, well the first hurdle, and it made me realize that this map was probably made with desktop people in mind, honestly.

The more I play with Knuckles the more I feel Valve hates video games - like someone that used to draw smut and hates when someone brings it up, now that they are popular, but has to throw them a bone every now and then because that's where his income is.
The touchpads, the low quality of key controller components, using them after your hands get sweaty feels like using a smartphone in the rain. I went around and tried other, older controllers and the only ones that feel shittier are DualShock 1-3 which never were that expensive and none of them died on me - if they ever had any issues, it was because they were used for years. I'd take their analogue buttons (PS2) and sticks over what cap. sensors any day of the week.
Pic related is probably the controllers they wanted to make, the design we have now is a compromise. I feel that if they cared about how gamers perceive those controllers, they'd make some big VRFPS cup where the participants get to play with the controllers before they sell them to the public. I will say though yeah lighthouse based tracking is much better, at least on the HMD and controllers. I've found an interesting control in VRC. Hold and grab are separate actions, so you can use one input to pick things up and another to keep a hold of it after. I'm using thumbpad to hold and grip to pick up on knuckles so I have to hold the grip then press and hold the thumbpad which prevents the accidental pick ups and drops.

Valve's flagship title will be something like heavily hardcoded mashup of Pavlov and B&S. It will be shaped in a way so it looks like a consistent "VR experience" rather than gmod-tier box of fun. It's been a while since Bigscreen Beta has been used, so with its many updates it's about time to see if it has improved significantly or not. For those who don't know, Bigscreen Beta is a free game on steam that allows screensharing in VR so you can watch videos and games alongside your friends in environments such as a living room or a movie theatre.
