Redout's alright, AA quality at least, if it's your sort of thing (Wipeout, F-Zero, I dunno), you'll be satisfied with it.
Boneworks is kind of a wild card right now. It looks promising, but it can turn out to be our best VRFPS, at least singleplayer one, but it can turn out to be a total dud, or an okay game with no modding/SDK and we're back to square one.

Watching this right now. Very cool. This is going to be really great for developers of both applications and hardware. Just saw them demo a UE4 app running with just their API and it was able to work on a Varjo headset by default without any specific code. Also it looks like OpenXR allows user-side key rebinding be default which is nice.

Sometimes I feel that 3 times a week is too much. I get no time to hang out in VRChat, which is mon/wed/fri/sat.

I'm not sure what sytem are you on. Occulus is probably okay, I used wands which were alright, but I imagine approaching it with Knuckles would be a nightmare. A lot of the controls rely on the big touchpad.
There's also a princess carry scene and you can "connect" the girl to the wand so you can jerry rig a toy to it and have her bounce on your dick accordingly..

You see, Please Don't Touch Anything, when it first released, was my favorite VR game. The one-button control scheme was perfect and simple. It was definitely on my list of games to show people when they tried VR for the first time. BUT when the Oculus Touch controllers came out, they updated Please Don't Touch Anything to support the Touch controllers and updated the lighting for some reason. This update was forever ago, but every time I think about how they ruined this perfect game I get mad as fuck. Does anyone know of any way I can access the 1.0 release of PDTA VR again? Trying to contact devs is impossible since each version has different devs and publishers. I'm pretty sure it's just a publisher that hires code monkeys. I've tried looking for a torrent, but I only get results for the 2D version of the game because they both have the exact same name.

So I finally caved and got a headset (the Index), but I can't get it to run at all. The headset displays nothing at all when plugged in.
So I plug it in, launch Steam VR, and it spits out "(212) The headset's display was not found, but a mirrored display was detected. Please set the HMD to extended rather than mirrored."
It then give me a prompt that opens my display panel. When I attempt to set it to Extended, the settings revert and it tells me "The display settings could not be saved. Please try a different combination of display settings"
Now because this is a laptop, and it's running two GPUs, there's three different display menus: the first is the windows settings menu that Steam VR opens, the second is a menu for the integrated Intel GPU, and the third is for the NVIDIA GPU. Now, the integrated GPU menu reads the headset and allows me to set to extended, but doesn't actually do anything, while the NVIDIA menu is apparently gimped with only 3D settings because the integrated menu takes priority. From the looks of it, the display port may be wired directly to the integrated GPU.

As it is now it's what I wanted from Elite:Boring, but with enough mods to add world gen content/variety exploring is always fun and interesting, if a bit glitchy. It could use more ship variety too, but basebuilding and world gen (esp. with mods) is the best part of the game. Trade is okay, doesn't really amount o more than buy low here, sell high there, and if you get interdicted by a pirate, just fly straight for 2-3min and they'll be lost behind you. It's an alright game that does a few things well and other things just mediocre but as feature-deprived as we are in most VR games, it'll be an instant AAA-tier port just by having tracked controllers, which is more than other exploration games like fucking "vR-CuMpAtIbLe" Subnautica will ever do. I'm no connoisseur but I'm curious what TDA models you've seen that appeal to you. So far, the vanilla mesh for both bases have never really appealed to me, whether it's because the proportions aren't right in certain parts, there's not enough polygons and texel density, the weight painting isn't great everywhere, or there's a lack of good physics. They really need to be edited. I don't know if I've ever seen a perfect Yui edit, but a few of them have been pretty good in my opinion. For TDA, I'm not sure if I've ever seen an edit that makes it as good, or if I did, then maybe I didn't recognize that it was a TDA base.

Make sure you have the it checked in mod assistant, you can find it listed under the libraries section. It allows for some more advanced maps with additional lanes and finer note placement. Everything else should still be the same, you'll need custom avatars, and an installation of the multiplayer mod (don't forget to run the ipa.exe).
There is an update coming soon so be on the look out for that otherwise you shouldn't need to update anything if you already have these installed.

If there are any other mods you'd like to play on let me know. Plan on commandeering the vrgcraft mumble, in the op, again for voice chat as in game mic isn't quite there yet.
