Just throw the VRC camera into ortho view and zoom in a bit, find a canted angle you like, rotate the neck a bit so the head is tilted toward the camera, and bam, you have a profile picture, assuming you used a pano skybox or a solid neutral color for the background. The trick to instapumping the shotgun is to ungrip and regrip it.
When you regrip it it instantly pumps the shotgun. You maintain 100% accuracy because your offhand stays exactly the same and you are just moving fingers on your mainhand controller to ungrip and regrip.

I tried to change my inputs in the Pavlov and I've realized you can't actually do anything with your locomotion hand if you take out thumbstick clicks out of equation or don't input some weird shit to your trigger. Contractors has a nice attachment system and the game feels good to play but unfortunately has a lack of a player base. Onward also feels nice to play but in my opinion it is very slow and has a shit ton of downtime, especially on the bigger maps. Pavlov, despite the gun play not being the greatest, has the best game play and maps even though the workshop carries it hard. Pick your poison.

Contractors feels like cawadooty mechanically, with the set loadouts and slidey ninja movement. Unfortunately its maps and gamemodes get pretty degenerate, either favoring one side heavily, or favoring spawn camping over objectives. The S&D variant it has is slightly better, but once you die you get stuck in a team specific ded lobby, which is kind of bleak compared to all-chat in pavlov. The best gamemode is its "casual" bounty hunter mode, or just straight TDM.

I've tried most of them. The bike goes fast but it doesn't tackle hills and bumpy bits very well. The roamer is overall solid and moves good over pretty much anything. The collosus moves slow and I didn't figure out how to use the mining laser. The hovercraft I need to play with more since it seems like a good compromise between speed and stability.

I doubt VRAM is ever a limiting factor in practice in VRC. If I haven't got this wrong, an 8k texture will give a ~8 GB/s fill rate at 90 FPS. A 1080 can handle 150 GB/s, so that's 18 times that. You're not going to get 90 FPS with anywhere near that many people in the room so the fill rate will decrease and will never be a limiting factor. You'd have everyone using 8*16 or maybe even 16*16 textures for this to be a problem.

You've got much more controls and things to tweak on your gun like bipods/sights. You can go pretty crazy with the rails too.
