I heard there were some complaints about tearing? Is that fixed? Is the 144hz mode still considered 'experimental'?

Also, do most (VR) games natively support 144hz? Or are you required to fiddle with .ini files all day long?

Finally, how's reprojection in 144hz? You're getting a 72fps reprojected to 144hz, that's oculus quest level but twice as smooth, is it worth pushing the supersampling all the way up?

I don't own a valve, Valve, or an Index, but to answer one of your questions, reprojection has flaws, and is actually in some ways worse than just displaying a lower refresh rate, because it artifacts, and it cannot do anything for input latency. Reprojection only really smooths out head movement. It cannot make hand movement or button presses feel snappier and smoother.

It works fine. I'm on a 1070 ti, and I can get 144hz , by myself, no mirrors, in most maps in vrchat. Most of the time it's at 48hz (1 out of 3 frames) which still looks okay. I turned off the fancier reprojection in steam, it's worse than Oculus' ASW.

The only game that has had trouble with 144 is eleven table tennis. Somehow their ai physics sim was tied to the frame rate, so the AI just can't return anything. I think it's fixed now though.

There literally isnt an option to even bake textures onto a new UVMap. Blender 2.8 just doesn't let you do it. I saw a roundabout way to bake the diffuse with only color selected but that still only bakes the selected mesh and doesn't work with multiple meshes. If someone figured this out please teach me.

Well, the theme of the day was unbalanced teams.
Because nobody signed up! I could have balanced the teams ahead of time if people had done that. Instead we had unbalanced teams and all of the australians and several americans playing on EU side.
