I gave my old original Rift to my buddy now that I have a Quest 2.
The left touch controller's grip button is stuck pressed in and it stopped registering completely. What are the chances of A) fixing it ourselves or B) finding a replacement reasonably priced enough not to warrant just buying a Quest 2

I had the grip button sticking problem. There's some little rubber bumper in there that comes loose. I was able to get it back into position by sticking a paperclip in the side and jiggling it around.

i had a problem like that with link after having it work for a while until an update. here's what i had to do to get rid of all the oculus software and then reinstalling:
1. Backup any necessary content.
* You can find steps on how to do so by clicking here
2. Disconnect your computer from the internet.
3. Reboot into Safe Mode.
4. Uninstall Oculus Home using the Control Panel.
5. Delete all Oculus folders from the following folder:
* C:\Program Files
6. Remove any Oculus folders from the following locations:
* C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData
* C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Local
* C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\LocalLow
* C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Roaming
* C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache
7. Restart your computer in normal mode.
8. Reconnect your computer to the internet.
9. Install Oculus Home again using the setup tool from our website https://www.oculus.com/setup/
