Yes to everything. As always vrc is the hinge on which everyone meets and chills. Pavlov is 3x weekly, vox, contractors, hosted regularly too. Township tale private server is up for anyone to join. People play single player games every so often and post things about it when it suits. Generally they talk about it while chilling in vrc than put it in the thread because you can gesture and actually mimic your actions in game unlike here in just text. I have a tonne of screenshots and videos to post but my internet is mildly fucked. More thread content to come when it's fixed.

i think the biggest problem people have with blender are the autistic controls.

But if you dislike how you move around the viewport (as in the 3d scene) I have made a blender config with keybinds, that lets you move around holding down Right Mouse and using WASD like you would in unity.

Adding wings and a tail (and maybe talons) to your own avatar is meant to be mildly more advanced than the average outfit swap, to let people continue to use their normal base. Also try and get people to implement simple flight systems to their avatar with 3.0, something many people might not have bothered with. I'd also like to advise people to maybe use https://booth.pm/ja/items/2278448 instead of following the entirety of the guide I linked. That guide basically shows you how to make the physics cube. Using radialinventory gives you a three click solution for generating a new FX layer with menus so you can toggle things like dicks super easy.
Keep in mind it'll make its own FX layer containing whatever is inside the FX layer you used, on top of the radialinventory groups, so the name of the FX layer you need on your avatar descriptor will become FXradialinventory. Kinda dumb.

I last tried it a couple years ago and it's pretty boring, just some forgettable warcraft fantasy story, rooms full of mooks that you either shoot with a bow or waggle through with a sword, and some "puzzles" like finding a lever to open a door, then boss battles where you have to waggle a bit more. Playes a lot like the free rec room quests, and just about as much content in total. There's an item shop with "upgrades" that just increment the numbers sightly. Coop is possible but it's still pretty boring.

VR dungeon knight stretches the concept better into a roguelike; it's also kind of boring but I liked it better than karnage at least. I've heard that Ancient dungeon VR on itch also does it well but I still haven't gotten around to playing it.

There are actually quite a few besides the ones mentioned in OP. Until you fall is my favorite that I've played, well polished melee rhythm-game-like action. Tea for God has a really interesting manifold space to explore. Vivecraft plus some other Minecraft dungeon mods works pretty well. Of those i haven't played, in death is an archery roguelike that's apparently good, and compound is a retro shooter. I also bought trickster vr at some point on sale but never actually tried it. H3VR's hot dog mode is also apparently fun, and blade and sorcery has mods for arena roguelike that I have yet to play. There's also swords of gargantua which is arena levels. It does have coop but last I tried it it just feels overall mushier than until you fall.

My best analogy is that if vrchat is a multiplayer unity scene viewer, neos is a multiplayer unity editor; you call edit everything in-game in real time and do some really advanced stuff, and the autistic dev implements a bunch of other odd features like vive hand tracking. There's a (lot smaller) vket-like world in their featured world list right now cool to browse through with friends. If you learn how to import avatars it has full dynamic bone interactions with other avatars which is cool. You can import pictures and 3d models directly from your hard drive into the game too.

On the other hand, all the power makes the UI extremely confusing, and the performance awful. Avatar configuration is done in game which is arguably better than having to learn unity itself, but it's so poorly documented (except for 50 minute youtube tutorials) that I find it way more frustrating. Bloom and SSAO postprocessing forced on and gives me and other people headaches after a few hours. And the main pubic instance community is all furries, so neos is definitely not good as a social platform. But again worth trying in private instances with friends for all the other stuff.

It's stupidly powerful which is why it's so expensive. SKS twoshots mimics while the mosin oneshots them. Mosin ammo is still really fucking expensive at 1k per 20 box but you can find boxes of 100 around as loot. The rifle itself is cheap and there is one around in the radius to find too. I dunno though. I find the SKS as a sniper too much of a hassle having to take that second shot after alerting the mimics to your location with the first. I'll eat the high cost per shot just for that. Mosin+glock best loadout.
