ChilloutVR is releasing on Steam too late to do the expedition, so it's being put on hold until 1900CT tomorrow.

On top of it coming to steam, at some point it seems like it's releasing a new feature that lets you have closed audio calls with someone in another instance and their avatar gets projected to the room you're in.

I haven't bothered fucking with avatars since advanced features came out but it should work like SDK2 with the animation override controllers with a few extra slots. The reason VRChat has persistent avatar states is likely because it was taken from CVR, which had it so if you set your avatar to toggle state 5 which pulls my penis out I'd log into any other instance in that toggle state.

The avatar system is robust enough that people can share avatars with you though, and there's already placeholder avatars made and assigned if you wanna show up for a few minutes to see what's happening at Tuesday on 1900CT. The location will be announced closer to the time picked.

Chillout supposedly unlocks on steam just before midnight on britbong time so it might be worth it to hit download before you go to bed to be ready.

The idea is to meet as many different people as possible so feel free to go to all of the hosts on every timezone.
If you need a small break you can just hit respawn and chill in the lobby for a bit.
Returning to the matching area when the countdown is near again for the next "wave" of matching every 5 minutes.

So I've been practicing lately walking in a long straight line using playspace mover (to turn the playspace as I walk a square around my actual irl play space, and it works well but my only gripe is the fucking cable. This new UDON system is hyper powerful and you can just hit respawn button if you need a break and continue to match once you are ready again to match with people.

Whole place is designed to have as much occlusion as possible so people are separated out.
When you are in a room with another person you are totally isolated occlusion wise

But if some people activate their animations and particles and stuff it might still reach you depending on how malicious the shader or animation is.
VRchat thankfully has "Safety" settings for you to be able to activate so be sure to read up on how to do that if an emergency occurs.

Maybe something came up. VRchat crashing is suspect as well but in that case they can just re-join back in.
