For some (hopefully not revealing) context, I'm still really green when it comes to vr. I joined my first like /vrg/ instance 100% blind like 3 weeks ago and after some effort met very welcoming people who I quickly became friends with. Later on in the night, out of the blue, I was approached by a guy who was really kind to me and it shook me up a lot.
