I run some events where I put videogames for the public (usually kids from 12 to 19 or so) and some other activities.
We have got an HTC Vive a few years ago, but we have got pretty much the same few games, Superhot, Beat Saber and Drunk Fight or something like that (you fight with people and can get drunk or something).
I need more games like these, where someone can play for 5 to 10 minutes and don't need to learn much. Could you recommend some?

Also, since security/health measures are still kind of tight here, I will need to clean the headset really well after any user. Is this doable with just some alcohol? I will get pic related and change them for every user, and then clean the inside of it really well.

Kinda confused here. I added an object that sits right in front of my avatar's face (it's small, but visible) I added a parent constraint so it moves along with my head, the object is in my avatar's hierarchy so it will upload along with my avatar. However when I log in-game the object is invisible and I only see it in my avatar's preview window (meaning other players can see it but I can't) but also the object is floating in the air like 2ft ahead of where I placed it in unity..

I have no clue what's going wrong, it looks fine in unity and the parent constraint seems to be working correctly but in-game it doesn't work at all?

Well I sort of got it working, but not quite. So on my head bone I have another bone (just called nose) that is there for nose wiggling and such. I was making the object parented to that nose bone as the object itself sits on the nose. However no matter what when I upload it always makes the object invisible to me and it shows up like 3ft floating away from my avatar. I went ahead and changed the parent to the actual head bone, not the nose, and now it works, object shows correctly...however the problem is it moves left and right with the head bone movements which do not sync up correctly with the tip of the nose, so the object looks really dumb floating side to side as I move my head. It only looks correct when I'm standing still.

Not really sure why parenting to the nose bone completely fucks everything up, but parenting to the head bone is not an option because it does not track the movement accurately

Hello! So I'm not the person you saw but I actually wrote tracking system for a vtuber for actual foot tracking. At least between us we could only move our big toe or the smaller toes. I'm not sure how you would apply this to movement. The system I wrote required you to be sitting. The under side of the desk also needed to be lit for camera sight processing. Lastly we played with tracking dots which is mostly what was used in testing. Towards the end I started working on ik model for bare feet(no tracker dots). The issue here is some used socks/stocking and some used bare feet(on a simple level). Never finished it because the project fall through with the company. I'm almost sure they haven't used it... I think I would of heard about it online. But I got paid so who cares... I also got feet. So that was nice.

Wich I use to fasten the tracker to the shoe. usb placement is not ideal, so an USB cable last for like 3-4 weeks before I need a new one(3€ each), when I had the USB port at the other side, there is quite some space, so I hope that having the port placed like that will make the cable last longer.

It's not really system ram that's the problem in VRChat. It's your VRAM it'll happily eat up 8gb if you are in a busy instance with everyone shown. Your CPU, GPU and System Ram usage can be under 50% and your VRAM can be pegged hindering your rig from getting any more frames.

the timing of the RAM might be higher than your previous setup, which will lower the cpu's ability a bit
the xmp profile might have set the rams clock speed to a number that decouples ryzen's fabric clock out of sync with eachother if you have an amd cpu, which will significantly hamper the cpu's ability
16gb of ram for vrc is perfectly fine, cpu single core speed is the main bottleneck since the game is optimized like shit and just pegs a single core for most of its operations, especially dynamic bones
vram is also an issue but you can easily manage that by lowering the game's vr resolution, using the clear vram mod after a while, or not showing absolutely everybody's avatars

Just putting this out there for feedback.
Still need to figure out server hosting and come up with a fun driving event.

Current idea:
Daytona USA (Assetto Corsa) demolition endurance race.
The best fun would need about 20 cars on track so may need AI to fill in.
Damage, fuel, and tire wear would be on but all penalties would be off to so ramming would be a valid tactic.
