how long's it take to learn to make your own avatar from scratch if you're technically competent but totally new to blender and whatever else you might use? it seems less like learning how to make an avatar than learning how to make all digital art ever (sculpting, coloring/shading) which is daunting

Man, I cannot figure out the problems with my avatar and full body tracking. When I'm standing everything is fine but things start fucking up when I lay down, like if I lay on my side and move my arm forward my entire spine like "tilts" forward. I have no idea what's causing this so idk what to change to fix it?

The other really weird thing is if I sit down and move my play space (using OVR advance) down to the ground, as if to simulate sitting flat on the floor something happens where my avatar will start tilting forward, like bending forward. It only happens when I move the playspace down, idk why it does that or if it's a setting I have to change in OVR

2.4 GHz isn't great, you need 5 GHz, but even a cheap router with those specs is good enough and equal in price to a good quality long cable. Look on Google for people who reviewed using Quest 2 with different routers.
They're about equal in streaming. It matters more what exact drivers, PC components, and router you have. Although wifi congestion can kill it if you're in an area like an apartment.
