If you're an avid picture taker, then yes. The DoF on the new VRC camera is so god-awful.

Can't you just enter pose mode in blender, scale it up slightly and then do "Apply as rest pose" in CATS?
Either way, in the humanoid rig configuration you can scale up your head bone a little and it will automatically apply in VRC. But I recommend doing it in Blender instead for your own sanity.

Either get a better premade Base/Locomotion controller (such as LocomotionFIXv4), or copy the existing one and manually edit it. There's a "falling" state/transition. Just delete the whole falling state, or add a condition that VRMode must be below a certain number.

I haven't done it so this might not work, but the SDK3 locomotion controller has a sub-controller for falling/jumping. I'd start by duplicating the default controller from the SDK examples folder, assigning the copy as the new locomotion layer in the avatar descriptor and then seeing what happens if you remove the transitions for falling. I reckon it will do the trick. If that breaks stuff, you'll have to go directly into that sub-controller and see what goes where.

It's more like L4D I say, no gay card gacha system and the specials are way less BS. It has an actual gore system too unlike B4B. The lobby system where you are dropped into a train station with other players is cool.

It doesn't have melee outside of pistol whipping/punching though which is sad. That and I feel like it should have more levels. It has five, soon to be six, harvest runs, which are like fourty minutes or so each. I think the idea is play them a few times until you unlock weapons to play at higher difficulties which have faster enemies and more specials. There's also PVP but I haven't tried it yet.

If the falling state/subcontroller isn't there, then you simply can't play the animation anymore.
The only explanation is that whichever controller you edited, you haven't actually assigned it in the "Base" slot on your avatar.

Crossplay with any platform is great even if IK struggles with it. PSVR players move like desktoppers except they have one hand, it's funny watching them wave back to me like retards. They have a lot less situational awareness so you need to baby them.

There are 5 levels and they're short, 25-30 mins checking every room + a little as you increase the difficulty. The layouts generally have small 'exploration' sections between setpiece arenas where you fight large numbers of enemies, small safe rooms and eventually the boss arena. Higher difficulties throw more of the faster enemies at you. The special 'snowbreed' are kind of bland but they can fuck your shit up quick if multiple spawn at once. You often compete with your team to get the kill credit.

Only 6 guns, you unlock mods via RNG and skins by X number of kills. You can take your guns into levels or store them on a shelf and find more in the level. Headshots are satisfying even with the basic pistol and the 4 weapons I tried all felt good to use. Manual reloading is executed well, it gives you a currency bonus when selected and it's smooth to remove a partial magazine to put back on your chest.

The visuals looks very nice, the lighting and atmosphere are great. While some guns could sound punchier the rest of the effects and the soundtrack feel high quality. It's also impressive that they got so many enemies running on weaker hardware like PSVR and Quest 2.

I think you need to enjoy zombie shooters to get your money's worth right now as the game relies heavily on replaying content. More is planned for next year but all they've said so far is 1 map, 1 gun and 1 gamemode, I don't think I'd want to buy a small DLC like that. The small number of levels is my biggest gripe. Still I'm keen to play it again, particuarly after playing with friends.

The work you did/do for porting over an MMD still remains mostly the same, if you're still rocking MMD. The Unity side is a bit different with avatar 3.0 so that's where the new tutorials come in. Well it depends. If you're just doing the same old gesture animation stuff it's not a lot more complicated and you don't have to learn as much. If you want to get into the deeper capabilities to do unique things such as locomotion animations that only activate on certain conditions, yeah it gets a lot more time consuming to learn, but the process is also smoother now since you can do local avatar testing instead of needing to upload every time.

The proper way is FBX All which makes the meshes and armature scaled at 1, which means the radius won't be huge anymore. find these in your blender FBX export settings

I wonder how many people actually find genuine solace and relief in being able to just be the way they want to envision themselves in their head. i mean youre rarely gonna get 120fps, like most of the time itll be sub 60, but thats just vrchat, not much you can really do about it, avatars and worlds are shit as well as just unity itself. Its really single threaded so make sure you have PBO2 and everything setup to its full extent to help with CPU frametimes, as that will help with Dyn Bones as well as shitty UDON code. use openvr_fsr to help your gpu frametimes as well but you still wont get a massive difference. there are mods to help with perf as well if you want to look into melonloader and maybe risk getting banned but i havent known of anyone to get banned who isnt being a cunt with mods.
