Due to the ever ballooning size of /vrg/ we're going to try and keep frames manageable by limiting the event to couples only*. If you do not have a date then our bouncer will not allow you to pass so start asking: You only have a month to find one!

*The couples only rule will only apply to NA. Feel free to come to the EU dance even if you're single.

usually people put them on Mixer or Mixamo bodies, the ones in Mixer are great for more "realistic" and human styled outfits.
Keep in mind Avatar SDK is paid for but has free trials. From what I know, the web demo doesn't have watermarks on the textures, so you can rip the model from the Unity player and then rip the textures from the web demo. I don't know, I have a lifetime license.

I liked SS4 a lot more than 3 honestly. Dual wielding and rodeoing enemies genuinely added to the horde shooter format, and the encounters at least were a lot more interesting than 3's. The writing was surprisingly kino too with a couple of the twists. TFE and TSE are still the best games in the series of course, but are worse than the flat version in the sense that most mods don't work which limits replayability.

By default, the VR games allow you to spam the trigger and rapid-fire any weapon, which is bullshit. This mod fixes that, by enforcing the normal rate-of-fire for each gun.
You do have to manually launch SS Fusion with Mod Support, and sacrifice any chance of unlocking achievements, but I feel like this is an essential improvement to the game in VR.

Last I saw the Haitora trackers, which I'm guessing these are based off, gave garbage tracking in VR itself. They worked better than kinect (slightly) but nowhere near as good as Vive trackers.

Firstly, don't been seen. Use terrain to hide yourself from the radar emitter, and use anti-radiation missiles to destroy them before moving back up to high altitude. Before long-rang air defenses are destroyed you should fly very low. If you go to the ARAD MFD page on the F26 or AV42 you can turn on HUD display of radar emitters and this helps a lot for situational awareness.

Secondly, don't be engaged. LISTEN TO YOUR RWR, and use the wiki to find out what each type of emitter is. When you get a radar lock warning (rapid tone, circle around the emitter) then it is trying to engage you and you should take action. Probably it has sent out a semi-active radar missile that is already on it's way to you. This means that the launch site must guide the missile close enough to you for it's own seeker to activate- so you're only going to get the actual "MISSILE" alert when this gets very close, and that's dangerous.

The second you get spiked you should-

1: "Notch", which is turning 90 degrees to the radar emitter, (RWR display helps with this) and drop chaff. This works much easier at extended ranges, while the missile is still being guided by the radar site, and when you have terrain behind you relative to the missile or radar site to provide clutter, so you should dive as well when you do this. In the F-45 especially this will result in them breaking lock. It also makes the missile work much harder to get to you, as it constantly has to turn.

2: Try to recognize what is spiking you, and dive below terrain to break LOS from it. This will immediately stop them from being able to guide a missile to you. In most cases you can use terrain to approach close enough to a radar site to launch weapons at the radar. Once the radar is killed there's zero threat from the SAMs, and you should go high to avoid radar guns.

3: If you're over the ocean or something with no terrain to hide, your last resort is to dodge the missile. It's good to be low (the missile has to work harder while you have more power), notching at 90 degrees (so the missile has to constantly turn) and maneuver constantly, pulling one final turn downwards as the missile nears you. Once you dodge a missile, find terrain that does protect you, or turn tail and GTFO.

This is all for radar missiles, but IR missiles (you can tell because you don't get any RWR radar spike, just a sudden missile warning) are super easy to avoid. Just turn off afterburners and drop flares.
