I think it comes down to a lot of trial and error, practice, and pretending to grasp the fundamentals like the subject matter, positioning, and all that nerdy autistic jazz. For every image that I really like and think is kino there are at least 5 more on average that I took that aren't good.

I love my angles and dutch angles for better kino. I'm a big fan of the default camera's focus, even the automatic one is good. It can and will get kinda scuffed if you're unlucky but sometimes images come out good. I tried VRLens once on that one coomer Merino avatar that went around for a while last monthish but I literally could not figure it out in the slightest, that vrlens had a lot of feature creep I feel for retards like me.

Pumkin tools has a pose editor. There's a plugin for Unity itself called Final IK that has, I believe, IK you can move if you're ever familiar with IK in games like Custom Maid 3D2 mods or Koikatsu.

all helicopter functions are accessible from both seats. You can theoretically do everything yourself, but it is difficult to do piloting maneuvers while also aiming guns and doing navigation. It's doable though, especially when you slave your gun targeting to your helmet

If you aren't able to make one yourself, there are plenty of avatar worlds with Kons you can use. Texture edits are always a fun entry point into model making/kitbashing. For anons who already made a Kon last year... it's been a year! I'm sure either your main avatar has changed or maybe you've grown your skills? Now is a great time to show off what you've learned through out the year!

There was a pretty big turn out last year with pretty good frames because Kons are pretty optimized as is. I'd love to see as many people there as possible! Maybe even more than last time.
