Coming soonish is May Day. On May 1st, a lot of places celebrate the turn of spring with festivals and food, and some places just whine about working. Here, we celebrate with blender and unity. And probably alcohol. Everyone new and old can learn to learn limbswapping and grafting feathers at any one of several servers.

So I finally got back into VRC and picked up XS Overlay. I purposely went to a world that has lots of people and always gives me insane lag and FPS drops to 15-20 FPS and with the overlay stats it seems my CPU isn't really being taxed nor is my GPU, CPU was barely at 60% usage and in the green..
however it seems my RAM is the problem as XS Overlay was showing it nearly capped and red.
So put simply, what mods can I use or what can I do (besides buying better/more RAM) to improve this? I know if I can get this RAM shit under control it'll help me play vrc a lot smoother but idk what even specifically taxes RAM so much and what I can do to actually help it out. I currently have 16GB but that doesn't seem to be enough and I'm too broke right now to buy more

If it comes to this particular issue, then yes, they did. You were wearing it super tight because CV1 had horrible lens sweet spot, so image was blurring out whenever headset moved from perfect position even just a tiny bit. Index has real good sweet spot, so you can wear it less tightly than Rift, and also overall ergonomy improved massively over CV1 so even reasonably hard squeeze doesn't feel bad

in-editor is similar to the game but only if you can move your character at the same speed.
Usually in-editor we test by moving the characters with our mouse but that is very very high acceleration.
The only accurate thing is how slow the gravity affects it.
