Coming soonish is May Day. On May 1st, a lot of places celebrate the turn of spring with festivals and food, and some places just whine about working. Here, we celebrate with blender and unity. I was looking for something which would let me write text, instead of having to reinvent the wheel, someone made KAT which does exactly that.
The KAT prefab & python library lets you write text on your avatar very easily.
I changed the font on it to be spotify's font so it would match better.

UHH Depends how you'd do the syncing.
You *can* but you'd have to either listen to the music as you go through it, or write something that utilizes spotify's API.
While spotify's api can give you 'analytics' on every second of a song, it is a clusterfuck to go through and you'll run into problems. T. tried that and gave up.
So, best case, you'd have to go the route of listening to the music, to make that work, you'd either have to set up a virtual audio device which would only allow the music in and then mirror that sound to your main headset, or accept that people talking and whatnot would also affect your music. In theory very very easy but in reality a lot of annoying things to fix.
I'll get around to doing that at some point, I've messed around with music synching so much that might as well go the The whole nine yards. TLDR: Doable but not really worth the effort, not yet at least.

As the Chorketowne organizer, i'd like to state, there was no SECRET INFORMATION that I was AUTISTICALLY HIDING.

The entire point was that the word Chorketowne was made up and there was no greater context, and the joke was that I just wouldn't provide any information (that never existed in the first place), while also being incredibly transparent on WHEN the event was going to be, to see how many people would show up.

The pedestals do not download anything unless activated.
Everything is disabled by default and only 18 pedestals are active at any given time.
There was a 10,000 avatar pedestal world that worked like a charm.
There's also a ton of avatar worlds right now with 500 avatars in their world and it's fine as they hide it among multiple toggles of pages.

Weird. I have tested recently from existing avatar world (Persona) that the thumbnails sorta download only and even hiccups on a big page and downloads the image one by one.
