How do I make it so the Oculus program doesn't run 24/7 in the background even when I don't even have a USB-C plugged in?

Coming in a week is May Day. On May 1st, a lot of places celebrate the turn of spring with festivals and food, and some places just whine about working. Here, we celebrate with blender and unity. And probably alcohol. Everyone new and old can learn to learn limbswapping and grafting feathers at any one of several servers.

This hacky poster may be updated with times if we decide to make it an actual structured festival, but it'd be cool just to get an avatar event together. Last year, it was january, and some people did some cool stuff. Letsee what we can do this year!

I personally find that sculpting pushes the topology around to places where you don't want it to go, whereas with modelling you have more control, which in turn makes it look more crisp. Saves time because then you don't have to retopologize. Unless you're doing something extremely detailed or are good at sculpting in 3D, that is.

People don't like big maps just for the fact of very hard and even sometimes next to impossible to find people in.

Exploration groups bypass this by having either:
a) someone responsible for picking up new logins to the map with a chair and teleport
b) a map wide "EVERYONE RESPAWN" screen space shader once a new map portal is to be dropped.

People are bad at refraining from always going the easy way, though. Look at how flying mounts killed World of Warcraft's exploration and random encounters. People stopped walking because flying was just easier all the time.

Another thing worth thinking about may be some mechanism that puts an upper limit for aimless wandering, though, e.g. something that subtly points you towards the direction of the largest cluster of people, if you don't meet someone for 5m.

the ik 2.0 definitely works better than default, and it's nice to have configuration on armspan vs height and whether hips/head are locked. It's still not as adjustable as iktweaks though, so if you're happy with it and the modder keeps maintaining it, no real reason to try the beta before release.
