Actually it's an unknown if Deckard will have higher FOV. It probably won't be higher than Index. The Index lenses were originally designed for microdisplays in mind, but they couldn't get a supplier on time so they pivoted. In other words Index having a higher FOV (compared to headsets like Quest) was somewhat of a mistake.

I have a strange issue with my Index. When I turn my head I experience choppiness even at 60+ fps, as if the game is running at 60fps but moving my head updates at what feels like 10fps. Especially looking at videoplayers and mirrors in vrchat. (this sucks in pypy where its a video player in a mirror.) I tried to record the choppyness but it just records at the normal framerate. no chop in the recording.
Also, when I open steam overlay, all the head turn chop goes away while vrc is in the background. Anyone experience this?

It was the 3rd world I've ever tried to join (first world was dead and the second world I got crashed by someone) and I made 4 friends and decided I want to stick around.
