In standard fantasy setting? I got a feeling that exp/level/skills system doesn't translate horribly well into VR, at least not for melee combat. Into the Radius git it easy, guns are pretty straightforward to translate, but swords are either dealing enough damage to provide satisfactory b&s-like combat where everything revolves around your personal ability to use the thing, or you get skyrim-like gameplay where you just kinda swing the sword around at random and it deals some kind of damage.

That's probably why there are so many "magic" games, but so few enjoyable sword fight games, leveling up spells is natural and damage upgrades make lots of sense.

Yes, this is a solvable problem but it's very hard to execute on. Those two combat types are basically different genres.

VR's not yet at a stage where the endgame-based high investment stat building model is sustainable, so it's important for a game to facilitate raw noobs playing in parties with high level autists. The WoW template doesn't allow that so the average devcuck doesn't know what to do.
