Maybe, I never cared about that, because the point of the event was just to show up and race in whatever you wanted. Whoever came first don't matter. But having a few courses, like small ones where things like the scooter can drive a lap in a minute, and larger ones where the big cars can drift.
Next time the event will be done is probably in january, when CVR has fixed the chair syncing.
And while you need to bring a car, you can also make a map for it and post about it here, and we race on it during the event, if someone wants to make one. Racemap can be whatever as long as it's a track.

Tried Paradox of Hope. The tl;dr is it's a metro2033 clone that is like 5% done.

So who's aware that AI has progressed in the past few months and weeks to the point where there are now convincing voice changers that sound indistinguishable from real people? The models are relatively obscure right now, but in a few more months several projects will make them easily accessible, kind of like what's happening with image generation.
If you want to find out if an anime girl is using "her" real voice, ask it to sing. The best models are unable to properly translate singing, but I suspect even that will be smoothed over in time.

Yeah I've discussed this a few times. The publicly available models can convert speech pretty well so long as it's normal speech. It's scary actually hearing my own voice back and... it sounds natural. For me it also kept my accent which was the spookiest shit ever. But then I started moaning and it couldn't process that at all.

I forgot to actually make my point because I was horny; Real time conversion is not far off. Processing power requirements are still pretty high, but it is very feasible that some dedicated research work (maybe someone's PhD) could bring processing cost down with a good model, and GPUs get fast enough to put it on some RTX cores for sub 100ms conersion times.
The main problem with this is the problem of 'continuous feed' - You're going to have to buffer some audio to work on it; and the longer the sample the better the overall conversion will be; if you're converting 10ms chunks of audio it's going to be a mess but that's how you're gonna get 10ms latency on it. I think you could do something clever with a shifting window of recording though; like you take the latest 40ms of audio, combine it with the last 500ms of audio, and convert that entire block for a better conversion.
Or take part of the model's conversion from last time and apply it to the new block.
