I took these screenshots while my headset was unplugged, uninstalled the mic in device manager and scanned for hardware changes and then it showed up again.

Hello, dropping by to talk about some upcoming events!

First of all, there will be a follow up event to the evil event. I think we'll be doing it on April the 8th. I'm hoping to have some more information available on it in the next day or two but it will be a game meetup and also a chance to reuse the evil avatars you made for last weekend.

Second, the flower event. It's going to happen. There will be a second flower drive before the flower event but in going through the files for the last one I realized I need to simplify the process a bit. This time I'm going to ask for .fbx files and their respective textures and for them to function well with one of litoon/poyomi/standard shaders. I might be able to work things out with people past that on a case by case basis, but complex flowers make things a lot harder. The flowers I got the first time I'll do my best to get working as intended.

And last but certainly not least, I'm going to try to revive maid week this year. Also to hopefully actually run a maid cafe this year. I'm thinking that will be early to mid May. There will be a signup sheet next month.

Easiest modifications are color changing (open picture in gimp and change it), clothes are still pretty easy if they are made for your base as you have unity addons. (download dressing tool, select clothes and avatar, click dress) Anything more than that and you'll have to learn blender.

I would suggest to find someone willing to help you (over a call or similar) as the tutorials are all over the place and sometimes the solution takes 1 second but you would have to hear it from someone who has done this before instead of losing yourself in unity menus. Considering the garbage posts in the most active rydercord channel, you're really not missing much. People that do post about vr games in that discord also post itt. There is very little if any vr discussion that happens exclusively in the discord except for maybe hardware recs and purchases.
Part of why a maincord was suggested back in the day was because of the creation of many secret inner circle discords. The hope was that it would bind the small at the time community together and prevent it from fracturing into nothing. I don't have a crystal ball to tell if it was successful or not but the thread is still here so I guess it doesn't matter. The problem is and always will be the fundamental difference between a chan and a discord so there is no getting around why it is cancer. If it manages to keep people hosting and joining games then I will turn a blind eye to its faults. I'm glad the hosts always post itt how and when to join though, even if only their discord butt buddies end up joining anyway.
