You are trying to isolate only the firefox, right? Not the other sounds?
This is the biggest problem, firefox+game are already mixed into a single audio stream.

2. Isolate firefox to virtual cable
3. In banana, set hardware input 1 as firefox virtual cable.

Now you have a virtual mic with real voice and firefox.

Next you need to find a way to feed the firefox audio stream to headset headphones too.
The problem is that we are already using banana to merge the mics.

The "A"s make you LISTEN TO that column's audio in the device you specified in the top right.
So ticking on an A1 makes you hear that column's audio in your A1 device, your headphones. Ticking on an A2 makes you hear it on your Index.

The "B"s ROUTE the column's audio to one of the virtual columns.
So a B1 routes the audio to the virtual input column you call "Desktop", B2 routes it to "Communication".

Both the "A"s and "B"s in the virtual device columns work the same way as the ones from the three columns left to the them, so an A1 here would make you hear whatever has been routed here in your headphones, while a B1 here would create an infinite audio loop.

So you need to...
1. set "VoiceMeeter Input" in Windows as your default playback device,
2. make Firefox in Firefox' (with an add-on) or Windows' (>>442511849) settings output to your virtual audio cable ("CABLE Input"),
3. in VoiceMeeter's column you named "VIRTUAL", turn on the "A"s for the devices you want to hear the audio on (A1, A2), and turn on B1 so that we can use the "Desktop" column as your entire VRChat input,
4. in VRChat, select "VoiceMeeter Output" as your input device.

Now the Firefox audio goes to the virtual audio cable, which goes to the "VIRTUAL" column, which goes to the "Desktop" column, which then goes to both your headphones (A1) and Index (A2) and "VoiceMeeter Output".
"VoiceMeeter Output" then goes to VRChat.

You and others should now be able to hear your Firefox Audio, but you haven't added your Yeti and Index microphones yet, so they can't hear you talk.

So you also need to...
5. in VoiceMeeter's column you named "Yeti", turn on B1,
6. in VoiceMeeter's column you named "VR", turn on B1.

Now they should be able to hear both your microphone and Firefox audio, and you should be able to hear only your Firefox audio.

All you need is voice meter, it has multiple inputs.
Voicemeter has this concept of buses. In Banana version you get 3 hardware buses A1, A2 A3. Which you can assign to different physical audio out devices. And additionally buses B1 B2, which are 2 virtual microphones you can use in any application.
Additionally you can record 3 different physical audio devices (and route them to buses) and have 2 virtual audio devices which you can also route to any buses.
To achieve what you want you need to put all you want to hear only locally you'd assign through windows mixer to Voice Meter Input, everything which you want to hear and stream to virtual microphone on Voice Meter Aux Input. Then enable bus A1 on Voice Meter Input and Voice Meter Aux Input. Then additionally enable bus B1 on Voice Meter Input. Your real physical microphone - put it on B1 bus and A1 if you want to hear yourself.

i verified its not picking up my computer/vrchat audio by playing the same song on a music world player, and it did not pick up in my mic. same with using another music player on another browser i didn't modify the settings with (my usual librewolf browser)
turning it off and on is as simple as muting myself in yeti/vr (whichever im using) turning it on in "virtual" as vice versa or leaving vr/virtual both on b2 if i want to talk and play music at once

13700k is solid but with some of the 4k series cards you have to be careful. Due to nvidia being retarded and giving the sub 4080 cards dogshit bus speed, they often end up being just full stop worse than cards like the 3080 and 3090 at higher vr style resolutions. Ideally you want as much vram as you can get which makes the 90 series cards ideal though there are some rare situations where speed is favored over vram depending on the situation. For vrc you will usually hit vram bottlenecks while in other vr games you want more raw power. If you can snag a 3090 or 3090ti for a good price (can often be found for anywhere from $600-1000 used or occasionally new) then they'll usually outperform everything short of a 4080 ($1200+) by a decent margin.

Depends on how cheap you can find one. 10gb will probably not feel like enough in many instances though 12gb version will get you closer. That said it's probably the best vr card if you can't get a 3090/4080/4090 especially if you can get the 12gb version. I wouldn't pay more than maybe 500-600 usd for one used because one you enter the $750-800ish territory you can often find open box/basically new 3090 (there are some new up for like $900 on amazon right now). If it were up to me I'd save up an extra few hundred and try to snag a used 3090 if you intend to do vr regularly, otherwise the cheapest 3080 is the next best thing. 3080ti are also fine if you can find one but they seem fairly rare and overpriced usually.

Today’s map recommendation: ODESZA By HoneyWeeWee

In Vrchat there’s not that many different types of activities you could do, usually people either go to social events, be it parties or performances, play game worlds, chill times or worldhop/blind exploration. While that little list covers absolute most of People routine here and purposes of maps existing, I wanted to present something a little unusual with this recommendation.

Odesza is a common name for about 10 maps series from the same creator, and it’s an example of something I’d call “particle show” worlds, you all probably saw at least 1 of them: you press a button and music with great pre-made particle show starts playing. And while the basic concept is simple, this exact series is a really well-made example of it!
So, my recommendation goes like this: take a bunch of friends(be it any number from 0 to 20) and go watch a couple of them! You can just relax and lay back or talk with each other about whatever while this show is just going in front of you, these worlds are great for both! It helps to prevent awkwardness and really is just a cool background.
Getting back to types of routine – what I meant is that this series is a Jack of all trades, a “background” type of map - could be used as Chill times, world exploration, even just talking or catching up with a friend.

P.S. I would recommend to turn down Bloom to 80%, at least personally that what was best for my experience; don’t forget that you have to adjust it every time you switch a map, even if it says it’s 80 vrc internally resets it to 100% every time you enter a world.
P.P.S. My favorite ones are “All we need” and “A Moment Apart Mix”, I could definitely recommend to start or finish with those 2.

Depends what you kind of bitrate you're aiming for. I've got an RT-AX55 which was the mid-range router everyone was recommending for months, and if you sit still with the P4 you can technically get 300+ something bitrate, but the moment you move your head the transmission fucks up.
I don't know if it's the headsets receiving antenna, or the router at fault but it's a huge issue. Now they removed that specific router from their recommendation and put another one in the VD discord.
Personally I think it's a bit of both, but most importantly they don't know what the fuck they're doing. I wouldn't put a lot of money in a router though. Sub 80$ for sure.

Tell that to literally anyone who is waiting on the Deckard or Bigscreen, and would happily buy one in favor of their Index. Just finished The Firmament in VR. Had to play on minimum and subsample a bit (2500x2500 per eye) to get it to run at 90 FPS but the game was pretty enjoyable. It did lag badly in some places though, especially with lots of vegetation (I guess layered transparency) a lot of GPU and CPU useage.

Worlds are really nice to look at, puzzles are not too hard not too easy, VR support is okay.

My biggest critique, for a modern "point and click adventure" type of game the world is not interactive enough. The only things you can interact are sockets, which you can "telegrab" and turn left and right. At one hand it saves you from pixelhunting, on other hand it's way too obvious what to do and makes some interactions (like steering a crane with 4 degrees of freedom while you can only directly controll 2 of them at a time) pain in the ass.

Overall, I recommend playing it, especially on sale, especially if you liked Myst and other "point and click adventures".
