I got Jujutsu Kaisen Cursed Clash to work in VR
it works extremely well, didn't have to change anything except for the resolution scaling, which I don't even know what it does, I think it upscales the game? I'm not entirely sure, changed it from High to Mid and it looks really nice.
I also changed the camera angle around so I can see my wife better but man it's great
It did crash once during an attack cutscene but that's about it.
I can definitely see myself playing JKCC on my Steam Deck, my PC, my TV, and in VR now
it's so much fun in all of them.
UEVR is extremely underrated

Once the defective units were filtered out the rest just work. Most of the issues people had were software or motherboard USB controller that were less relevant over time. The robot mic is still a weird mix of hardware and bandwidth issues though.
I've got 4k hours on mine and only the top strap broke. The sticks are getting loose like any controller and I've had to put electrical tape on the cable to prevent friction from rubbing the coating away further. Otherwise it's plugged in 24/7 for pick-up and play.

Sounds like it's going to be a hub for multiplayer minigames, procedural co-op dungeons and a cosmetic cash shop. Likely aiming for the Gorilla Tag or RecRoom audience. The current MMO version of Zenith will remain paid but reading between the lines tells me that this isn't a stunt to draw players into the MMO, so expect it to be abandoned soon.

Unironically helping out on some events we make here will allow you to build up that skill set.

Currently we have two running events that allow you to make map stuff.
1) Friend by Friend rooms are anon submitted from here in /vrg/. They're small 5x5x5m to 45x45x45m rooms limited to 10mb so you don't scope creep.

2) VRbuild does world making events sometimes that are full on worlds so you have a lot of freedom within the chosen theme.

3) Joining in and working with me on some of the other events we can do for /vrg/

Map choice has definitely been an issue, but I feel like the main problem is that no one wants to move instances anymore. NA stays in the same instance for hours upon hours on end every single weekend. I want an animator in a world to be synced for latejoiners.

as im doing it now, i have two scrips, one when someone presses a button it switches a variable and sends it to the animator. that one works.

the second one triggers when a player joins. it gets the bool from the other script and puts it into the latejoinersyncbool
then with a delay, it does basically the same thing with the animator that the button press does, but with the bool it got in the setp earlier.

but this doesnt work. when i tested it with someone, it always sets the bool to false and the bridge animates regardless if its open or closed

Surprised not a single person has posted any utilizing the AVP for VR gaming considering the shilling previously about how it would be the greatest headset.
