Yea, it's very playable if you enjoy the lightgun arcade game feel of the normal mode, while the "realism" mode is just cranking you and the badguy's health down to a couple of bullets which the game was clearly never balanced around. The only problem you'll run into playing with manual reload, since you'll probably be faster then the slow reloads on an extended mag with auto reload, is that snipers are a pain in the dick since the only weapons that deal significant damage per bullet are bolt action snipers and you'll be much slower bolting then the game doing it for you.

Holy fuck, I didn't realize how much better the quest 3 feels with a proper counter balance, with the kiwi battery strap it actually feels better than my reverb g2, albeit a bit heavier

Not Toilet-chan but I regularly use SteamLink with Quest Pro (except for right now that it's being fixed).
Compared to VirtualDesktop, both at max bitrate, the picture quality is noticeable better thanks to the foveated encoding. Sometimes you can notice it at the borders but it's extremely rare for me. This is while using a ASUS RT-AC68U router, so not even WiFi 6 (I can imagine that becoming a problem with a Quest 3 resolution tho). Can't talk much about latency because I never notice that (I endured playing this game at constant 20-30fps for years after all).
Eye/Facetracking is pretty accurate. Sometimes it will trigger tongue out randomly if I have a pillow next to my mouth. Compared to Vive Pro Eye/XR Elite Pro it doesn't have pupil dilation nor actual tongue tracking (just tongue out), but I can live without that. So far I think it really makes your avatar MUCH more expressive and once more HMDs support it will be become the new full body.
Also, if no one added FT to your avatar on Booth Hai's tool is pretty good. I used it to add support to my unpopular Booth face and my old MMD avatar (vid related).

Like in realism you'd never use a deagle or shotgun while they're very useful as sidearms in normal since heavies are so tanky. A fully kitted up deagle can down a heavy in 2-3 headshots I believe, about the same as snipers but snipers are better for well, sniping.

It mostly works and worst bugs got squashed. With that said, doors are still missing, silenced M4 meta has not changed, loot is still shit, players you encounter are either naked solos or fully kited rapesquads and all the new content boils down to new map and new boss.
