That's actually the same thing as the deadzone issue; just a different manifestation of the same symptom. The treatment is a thumbstick replacement. tl;dr get a good FJR06K-S and desolder/resolder. I recommend just sending the parts to a repair shop, they'll be able to do a nice part replacement for you.

Anyone have a quest 3? I just did a soft launch last night of a product I have been working on. Its $5.98 for a set of silicone inserts with fibers on them that you put inside your headset. The tiny fibers absorb and scatter the light so you don't get light reflectivity off the headset and interface. Helps keep immersion in bright scenes, and should help optical quality albeit minimal. don't, there isn't really that much flying in ksp, sticks/thrust are unnecessary and a hassle to deal with. You will spend 95% of your time in KSP doing things that either require K&B or are easier with them, like rocket designing, calculating, deleting trash, creating maneuver nodes, burns etc. Actual rocket flying is a very small fraction of the game really, unless you just fly around kerbin in a plane (and at that point just get MSFS instead)

Blender knows what merge means; it just means merging them into a single object, it doesn't mean anything about clipping. If they were clipping before the merge they'll clip afterwards.

Meshes that are single objects can have their vertexes joined together though. You can have a mesh object with vertexes all disconnected and a single mesh object with vertexes all one continuous mesh, but you can't have multiple mesh objects as one continuous mesh.

The headset itself has never turned itself off due to overheat, but it's warm to the touch.
The gasket is skintight and not breathable, so I am starting to feel like it's like slow cooking my eyes a bit. But it is still very lightweight so you can flip it up and wipe off the sweat, and it's overall quite comfortable.

I've used it almost exclusively at 75hz too, and it feels fine even in like beat saber; could just be cope, but I haven't missed the high refresh rate so far. I don't get motion sick at all so maybe that's a factor. Could also be years for vrchat have made me used to extremely cinematic framerates.

Well those are ice slopes so you keep your momentum but for normal maps you'll be sluggish for a while. Basically you want to rush and get into rage mode so that you speed gains is increased when moving around and you get less "drag" let's say.
At some point you get a feeling for it and you tap the ground with your hands when landing and minimize the time dragged down. I'm no gorilla pro so there's probably better techniques I don't know about

It's still an expensive headset that's has built in obsolescence. No wireless, no passthrough, no eye tracking, no hand tracking, it can't even do its native res in 90hz. It's kinda shit desu. Yes the weight and comfort will be best in class forever but if a 350g modern headset comes out, that's good enough to minimize its weight advantage.
