You misunderstand me, clearly if some group isn't going to mandate age verification then the statement doesn't apply. Think for a second about why they're doing this. This in particular: They are not using age verification to keep adults away from children; "child only" instances, they're using it to keep children away from adults with "Adult only" instances. Fact is, that public TDA and ERP groups exist and having age verification allows them to be less restrictive about who they let in since they don't need to worry about minors. If you know anything about worlds just search 18+ in the tags, you'll find hundreds of worlds dedicated to 18+ activites that are being controlled via codes in discords where they do the age verification themselves. This is just VRC doing that for them. Why do these groups age verify? So they can let in people they don't know without worrying about minors.

I don't doubt that VRC really would like users to feel comfortable using age verification. Maybe persona is the best provider out there that VRC can afford, but they are still really shitty. Beyond that, there are certain other features that I think age verification needs:

You can make it make sense depending on the setting, but you still need to find a good place to put the HUD, and you've got a pretty limited amount of space that's actually readable on most headsets.
I remember playing a couple games that actually let you customize the HUD, which is a nice fix for that, but for a lot of the early games I'd played with a HUD, it wasn't super helpful at the default (and only) position, at least not on the headsets I was using.

There is nothing to configure on the Quest side, other than connecting to the correct network.
6ghz is only available with Wifi 6E, so if you only have a Wifi 6 router, it will not support 6ghz.

If you do have a 6E router, you'll want to access it's configuration page ( check your manual ) and set the 6ghz network to have its own separate SSID/name.
They really like to bunch them all together in a single SSID and just have the client device which band it wants. We don't want that.

Speaking of VR games, I beat SKYDANCE'S BEHEMOTH. Very good game. Unpolished in several segments, but a solid core of options, valve school of game design, and it looks fantastic. The first behemoth fight was pretty lame but the rest were great and I enjoyed them a lot. It varies up combat and puzzles and introduces new tools and mechanics slowly so you're able to solve more complex arrangements. I want a sequel or like DLC with more game to be honest.
Oh yeah it has a story but like all games it is just there to give you a reason to CUT PEOPLE IN HALF WITH GIANT SWORDS
