Flechette is not good for armoured targets, it does tons of limb damage so it's great for leg meta against players but scavs seem to have one single healthbar so you can't black their limbs out. Against scavs stick to buckshot and tap heads or bring AP slugs.

Depends on why you gave up on Outer Wilds if that'll change your mind, but I think the kinda slow paced exploration works better in VR just because of the immersion.

I type here how to gain temporary invincibility in the, "free to play" area of Vail. The very area where you mine, "ore". The very, "ore" you can redeem for, "combat DLC". Combat DLC is full access to everything in Vail.
In the ore shop, there is a green stall. Just the the right of the green stall, almost right behind the green stall, there is a place you just fall through. The place has rock terrain, and is right next the green stall. Later than falling, try to run into the playground, shooting, ore arena area. You come against an invisible wall, but just continue sliding against the wall until you appear on the other side of the wall.
Disclaimer.... Penguins, platypusses, "Wassies", and water is deadly. If you go to the area with the ore smelter, line of pickaxes, and ore shop then you lose your invincibility.

gun controls = trigger (except for mag palming is trigger+grip) but all your healing/items/backpack etc are all grab.
I'd agree there's a learning curve to contractors controls but they're my favorite because with some practice you can do stuff without having to look at your hands and still be confident it's the right input

VR doesn't have enough feedback for bolties to feel great and unlike IRL there's no force required to lock or unlock the bolt so it's easy to feel like you have completed the action but the bolt isn't fully closed ingame. This makes guns with smaller or more complicated bolt movement worse than a simple straight pull bolt. I think this could be improved with thoughtful application of controller haptics but so far very few VR devs go beyond the minimum requirement for haptics.

Every game is different too. Pavlov uses an animation controlled by the 2d movement of your hand holding the bolt relative to the gun. Backwards or up unlocks and slides back the bolt, forwards or down pushes it forward and locks it. You can pump your fist into the air and back to reload lol.

Quest Pro only has binary tongue.
Vision has everything which also works reliably, the only problem with it is proper software. But hardware and walled-garden software are there.

I will buy Vision Pro 2 with M5 I think. Wifi7 will be there and most likely PSVR2 controller support too. A black color option would also be nice.

Anyone have Meta Quest 3S? I was told you can do "full body" tracking with the cameras that's on the lower part of the VR headset. But technically it's your entire upper body as body tracking. I know you can do it with Virtual Desktop but is there an alternative way of getting it to work without buying an app? It's mostly for VRChat.

I have gotten 4 months worth of VRC+ in the last 3 weeks just being in instances with random retards that are stupid enough with their money to drop x10 and x20 gift drops for no reason.
