On one hand it's necessary because VR conversions or VR enhanced games will only work if you have the standard compliment of buttons

I don't like it desu, it adds nothing you couldn't do before except take away some of the high risk sneaking through smokes when they were the only tool to lock down an area. It lasts for too long, has a too large radius, doesn't deal damage fast enough to punish camping and just chips away at you as you try to play around the unclear boundaries. I'm looking to make an idle/ gacha game in VRC. Elite's RNG world is super popular despite being so basic - but it might not have legs since there's no gameplay and all you roll for is an aura.

I was thinking about something where you have an NPC companion that you roll for bases/ items for. However, I still feel like it needs a gameplay component in which the NPC would be used. If I went down the route of something like Chao Garden, where the NPCs compete in races and fighting, I feel like the NPCs would need to be cute silly gremlin-type characters (rather than sexy booba - it just wouldn't work tonally).

I'm also thinking of maybe a Triple Triad world where you roll for cards/ card backs/ table style, with an idle game running in the background to earn resources to convert into rolls (or maybe it's constantly rolling low chance rolls, and the resources buy you high chance rolls).

Think this is the real issue. You know you're not where your eyes are telling you you are, so it's better to lean into the unreality of it all. Part of why single player in VR sucks unless the game is tight and arcadey like beat saber/pistol whip, or so fun on its own you don't care like skyrim. Your brain is constantly asking, subconsciously or not, questions that the space you're in can't answer, or that remind your body of the real constraints of your walls, controllers, cable if you have one.
You could say VR struggles to engage well without a social component in most games because most games just fucking suck as games. If I wanted to waggle a pretend sword around into some pretend mooks I could do that when I was 5 years old. Having computer grafix for it makes it a bit novel, and fun at times, but there's low lasting value in that.
What's needed is a Wurm/UO kind of game for VR, something with inoffensive or lacking monetization that leans heavily into the social aspect while being a game in its own right.

Just bought an AXE5400 router. No, it's not the minions one.
I will use it as a dedicated router for my Quest 3 in my VR room.
The PC would be connected to the Internet via Wi-Fi to the main router, and via Ethernet to the dedicated one.
It's not a big deal, but with this setup I lose internet access on the Quest (and for some reason the Quest behaves weirdly when connected to a network without internet access).
Is it possible to somehow share the internet access from the PC to the dedicated router? I want to avoid using a long ass cable for connecting the two routers together.

Primarily I'd recommend exercising outside of VR; if you're sweating hard enough to make it good exercise it tends to mess with headset gaskets.

Anything that makes you move is okay:
Beat Saber - Arms only
Dance dash - Legs and arms
Pistol whip - most of the body
Just Dance in VRC - whole body stuff. Look out for 'pypy' as there are regular groups here that does it
First person platformers: Gorilla tag, no more rainbows
Thrill of the fight - mostly arms, boxing game. Will wear you out super quick.

Or just don't use a game at all, get an indoor cycling machine and just hang out in VRC while spinning. People who do this tend not to stick with it though.
