This game is going to make or break Valve. I want to believe it's going to be good since The Lab came out really strong. If they just applied all the little things in The Lab to their VR games then it's automatically going to be better than anything else. Just combine it with Half Life gameplay and puzzles while utilizing the VR mechanics will make it a solid game. I bought into VR because it's cheap now, and it's absolute garbage. Possibly the worst system I've bought into, and I've bought some real SHIT in my time, like the fucking game.com, the N-gage, the Tapwave Zodiac, the fucking Novint Falcon, I mean I am a high end collector of just pure garbage hardware.

And among them, VR stands out as the crowning jewel of complete garbage. I mean, the game.com had lights out on a touch screen, which was alright for 97. The N-Gage had a fun version of Snake in 3D, the Zodiac had some decent palm OS games like Bike or Die, even the Novint's tech demo where you rub your hand on some balls with different textures was a million times more mindblowing than VR.

VR? A few shit tech demos that last 10 minutes to an hour, no fucking games, and it's a chore to use. You have to strap shit onto your head, make sure your controllers are charged, I mean it's less fucking involved for me to pull out my steering wheel or HOTAS.

Never played a rhythm game before? You can't just dive into the harder/hardest difficulties. It's not really about "hand eye coordination", either. Getting really good at one rhythm game doesn't automatically make you good at them all.

Unfortunately, the default songs in Beat Saber aren't very interesting, and people who make the custom tracks for rhythm games usually don't bother with lower difficulties. If you want to git gud at a single, difficult track, there's a "practice plugin" that'll let you slow it down so you can learn how it goes before tackling it at full speed.

Catercorner in your play space, like pic related without the third one in the top right. I had to buy an "active" extension cable to set it up, which isn't cheap. Alright anons, so I woke up late as usual, made the mistake of playing Stellaris, that has been a real bit of fun, I really hope they make some kind of game like it in virtual reality, seeing ships going to war and fighting each other in VR would be a fun experience. You can spawn a camera attached to a flying object that flying object you control and fly through the map while you have a viewable screen next to you.

But, yes you can use the stock vrchat camera to "lock" it in position then you can step back. It's one of the buttons I think it;s the upper left one iirc. Just try out the buttons it'll be there.
