I'd do Job Simulator first since it's the kind of gimmicky thing that's fun to mess around with when you're new to VR.

I don't drink in vr almost ever. And especially never at vrg's pace or anyone else's for that matter

I tried out some of Ancient Dungeon which was surprisingly fun. It's a rogue-lite with actual physics based combat, the latter of which is rare than it should be in VR games. You have a sword, a throwing knife, and access to things like throwable bombs and potions you have to uncork to quaf. The Alyx-style pockets were a fun touch too as you have to be careful about what you carry with you and what to use on the fly. I only made it to the third area with the flying books out of what I believe are five main floors and four side areas but enjoyed it overall. The upgrades you get are cool but like so many roguelite's it's mostly what upgrades you are lucky enough to find rather than there being specific builds that you can plan. Some include lengthening your sword, slowing down time, making your sword catch enemies on fire, and a few unique ones like the glass cannon upgrade that makes you die in one hit but boosts your damage to very high levels. The bossfights are cool too as it has several that are rotated through.

My main gripe is that there could probably be more floors and that there is a lot of deja vu with the room layouts. Overall happy with it for a free itch.io game. It has modding support too so it'll be neat to see how the game is improved. I can only hope that Blade & Sorcery's dungeon mode follows a similar concept.

My wishlist for a final Steam release would be more areas and variety in general which are needed for a long lived roguelike. At least mods are already in the current version so a workshop sounds like a shoe-in. The best betas are the ones you don't have to pay to beta test IMO.

No IPD adjustment sucks for a lot of people, but mine is pretty close to what the headset is, so it's fine.
It's only 80 Hz, but I do fine on fast Beat Saber maps.
Sometimes it bugs out and I have to reconnect the USB or the Displayport, or even restart my PC.
I don't recommend wearing glasses in it, since I scratched one of the lenses.
Honestly, I only got it since it was pretty much my only option. Overall, it's fine for now, but I'm not going with Oculus for my next headset.

I've honestly been conflicted about changing my status to this.
On the plus side it lets me essentially filter what friend to hang out with at any given time depending on where I am. I can't even count how many times I've been in a friends+ world and one of my more....unique friends show up and I more or less have to smother them to keep their autism under relative control.

...on the other hand I know how I react to this status when I see it. When I'm browsing my friend list I honestly 80% of the time just ignore someone that has orange status I ask myself "what if they are actually in a private world busy?" Orange is my "I don't want anyone and everyone joining on me, but I don't mind a request" status, and that seems to work pretty well until I'm in a situation where green status is fine. There have been multiple occasions where an awkward situation could have been avoided if I was on orange, and I'd rather have someone annoyed at my status than have their anxiety or embarrassment flare up from inserting themselves into a place where they seem uninvited. If someone's orange and you want to see them in specific, go ahead and send a request. I do agree that overuse has become more of a problem these days, especially as we've gotten so many newfriends the past 6 months or so. Don't expect too much. There's no force feedback obviously and you don't even have feet tracking (yet) in VR games. It's going to be completely different from real climbing. What you can expect is more like you're grabbing an opaque hologram of the world and dragging it around.
