The japanese had a hard enough time adopting unity, using blender as well is beyond them. They've set up their models so any changes can be done entirely in unity so they all have millions of mats and meshes that can be disabled and added to get the look you want. They also have tonnes of hacky dynamic bone collision scripts to get things to sit just right. Expect your booth model to be very poor in dynbone scripts, transforms, and collisions, poor in mesh and material count, and once set up properly very poor in light counts.

Hey guys, I am trying to learn how to use unity and thus make models later on. I downloaded some premade models and I want to learn how to remove, totally kill, all dynamic bones in it. Is it possible to do in unity? If so, how do I do that? I cannot publish stuff because i am getting script errors related to dynamic bones. I guess I need to remove scripts somehow. Do I need a separate program for that?

Could anyone help me out with my Quest please? I've had it since they were released and it has given me many hours of enjoyment, i've been using it wirelessly since before Airlink was a thing and been very pleased with it and when it did get official airlink support i've been using that and, again, very pleased with the result.

In the last two days however something has changed and the VR performance of it is absolutely unplayably bad, there's at least 40 seconds of delay between me moving a hand/moving my head/pressing a button and that thing actually being shown happening. But the scene in front of me is in real time, not lagging at all, I can't look around though because only what's meant to be visible to me is drawn and that's like I mentioned, on this 40 second delay thing.

Using a cable I don't have this problem so it's something to do with the wireless.
To bugcheck I have restarted my PC, my Quest and my modem and router. I have performed a factory reset on the Quest, I have reinstalled the wifi adapter drivers on my PC and made sure everything else is up to date. I have also checked all my network power saving settings, nothing seems wrong.

Could anyone offer any help regards this? Wireless play with my Quest has become genuinely unusable.
