Sorry to hear that, like I previously mentioned, Neos just doesn't want to work with certain models sometimes, that is actually a strange issue because Neos actually does do a good job at automatically setting up eye tracking and visimes. Every separate mesh has a skinned mesh render component. On there is an Anchor Override slot. Since each mesh has nothing in it, it will try and grab light data from the origin of that part of the mesh. By using an anchor override, you force the mesh to take data from that point.

Select every mesh, then drag your hipbone into the anchor override. That should help.

It later went down to 50ish since we spawned tens of videos and prefabs, but the overall performance was amazing.

Then being able to shitpost stuff from your computer. May it be images or prefabs. It is amazing that you don't have to parent it to your avatar in order to show something.

Features you would need a mod for, like jumping to another avatar, nonclip and flying around (can be switched on and off by world creator) is there out of the box in the quick menu.

People use Virtualdesktop commonly here to have a good time with wireless hookup to PCVR, but some will say Airlink as well. I'm not sure what the difference is.
What sort of videogames do you like, anon? People will say go to >/vrgg/ but if they're dying, it wouldn't hurt to ask here. I'd personally suggest COMPOUND as a boomer shooter fan, but on PCVR you'll want something like OVR Advanced Settings and either XSOverlay or OVR Toolkit, since I don't think you can use either if you're doing PCVR memes and SteamVR has an issue if you only use that where sometimes it forgets to toggle the resources so the thing you're in gets stuck with low FPS. Did they fix that yet?

I haven't used the Quest 2, but I know a few people here do. I can only tell you about the Steam side of things and that I'm not sure they ever fixed the battery drain issue. Your USB-C is better off using a battery and using a wireless hookup to your PC via either Airlink or virtualdesktop.

Again, it's entirely because IIRC the PC can't actually fully power a Quest 2 like it could the Quest 1 so you'd just run the battery dry quickly anyways. It doesn't hurt to get more information from someone keen on learning it though.

Thank you both for the advice. I am weary about trying wireless because I'm on the cheapest internet plan which isn't very sexy (about 10mbps maximum upload), but I'll give it a try! That is pretty odd, as I thought that the USB-C link would give enough power to the Quest 2 during playtime, but I guess it'll still overall drain the battery after long play sessions. I think I may be hitting a fundamental misunderstanding of how material slots work
In Blender I manually atlassed some character accessories to a single material
Exported them not joined (intended to attach to bones in unity and maybe toggles)
But unity counts them all as having separate materials even though its all the same material
Am I stuck with parenting them to the armature in blender and joining or is there something i'm missing?
