I managed to get ALVR working but it certainly isn't a bug-free experience with this headset. In games it seems to be largely fine and based around what proton says but steamvr home seems to have weird graphical glitches that I'm not entirely sure whether or not they're caused by a linux specific bug with steamvr or alvr itself considering I don't have this problem whenever I use ALVR with windows. Also the way to get the quest 2 microphone working on linux with that program currently doesn't work for me so I'm still stuck with playing any social VR game on my Windows 11 drive for now.

I know I did this to myself by not buying an index/vive but I just wanted to try VR without spending $1000 on something I wasn't even sure I'd like before actually buying a headset.
