A glorified karaoke contest where /vrg/’s top idols (this could be you!) will compete against each other live on stage in a gigantic clash of singing, dancing and fashion. So if you ever use the pose mode to move the armature, you need to select the "Apply as rest pose" option to lock that new pose in as rest pose, otherwise it'll go back to the original pose for exporting.
But if you go set the new pose as the rest pose, the meshes that were deformed along with the armature will go back to their original shape, since the meshes were using the movement of the armature as the modifier to deform from their original shape.
So before applying as rest pose, you need to go to the individual mesh object(s), to the armature modifier, and save the new shape as a shapekey. Once that's done, you can go back to the armature to set the new rest pose. Then go back to the mesh object and use the shapekey to propagate the deformation to the basis.
That's how you set the new default rest pose for both the armature and the mesh.

So I'm guessing the foot popping out was from the armature going back to its original shape and I had to some how change the shape back before applying the now rest pose. However the foot formation doesn't seem to be controlled by shapekeys in this case which is why I wasted so much time on it.
I am just gonna try to work around it by moving the meshes on Unity instead of Blender as I've spent enough hours on this.

You can't move the mesh in unity as you can in blender, but all the booth models should come with shapekeys pre-defined.
In fact, the model will work right out of the box as long as you don't go around messing with it. It might even use an animation to correct the foot so it'll look messed up in unity but look okay in game.

It autoupdates, includes new official versions of CyanEmu and UdonSharp, converts your old projects to the new system automatically, and lives in the Packages folder instead of cluttering up your Assets folder. Every update automatically does a fresh install of everything so you don't have to worry about that either.

My intuition is telling me it's because they run a lot of shit on a per player basis and their update loops are shit on this regard.

They could bypass a lot of this if they had a system to disable most things on avatar tracking by distance.
As long as someone is more than a certain distance away. The "player" should be nothing else but an invisible capsule with transforms.

If I am not mistaken they still load audio data as well as various others even if the players are culled.

You can cut a hole in the bottom of the head in a circle shape, select that as well as the edge loop from the top of the neck, and use Ctrl + E -> Bridge Edge Loops to physically connect the neck to the head. Then you can use Ctrl + V -> Smooth Vertices to make the transition less rough.

Very late but try joining the head and body meshes, then select a pair of vertices from neck and head and merge them. After that's done you copy the whole joined mesh and delete everything but the head from one copy, and everything but the main body from the other. You can also try data transfer modifier to transfer normals data for the neck vertex group between head and body.

If you want to check whether the seam is actually there in Blender I think you should enable solid shading in the upper right corner of your viewport, then set the lighting to matcap and colour to single, and disable outlines.

By the way, make sure your blendshapes and UVs are fine after you join and separate the meshes. Obviously makes copies whenever you try something like that.

This was more like my last model I was making of a waifu, and I was trying to make pixel art with it.

Again, for making those models I linked I would have to well, copy the style and work with the texture on photoshop or clip paint to get the nice anime ps2 texturing.

And just steal Vroid base model, and some meshes from koiktastu and just retopo them.

Basically still a lot of work to get to that level, but nothing too impossible to me.

Depends on how you set it up in unity, and if you messed with the meshes at all in blender.
If you didn't mess with the meshes at all, then that means you didn't set it up correctly in unity, but if you did mess with the meshes, like join them or something, then you'll need to set up the animators again to reference the correct blendshapes.
This is why you don't jump into blender right away until you at least understand a bit about how everything's put together.
Don't listen to the "muh optimization" fags, they still run around in very poor avatars with 50+ mb download size and get their panties in a twist at what they perceive to be poor optimization without any basis.
