This vket sucked so bad. So many no shows or incomplete booths. There is one booth that even traps you inside it. It literally gave me a panic attack. There’s way too many clothing booths compared to avatar booths too. Then there’s a lot of low quality avatar’s being displayed too. The worlds were nicely made and I like the cat though. Is the controller tracking refresh rate on the Q2 tied to the display refresh rate? I can't find any reference to that on the internet so I might be crazy, but it certainly feels like that when I turned it down from 120Hz to 90. It feels like it loses tracking more often on the slow setting when I do a fast driver swing with my ghetto-ass golf club attachment, but again Im not sure if thats the placebo effect.

Stenciling issue my friend. Whatever shader you are using at the bottom there is an option about its render queue. Fiddle with the settings a bit, but basically look at how it looks in Koikatsu, if the eyebrows are visible through the hair, you need to replicate that, along with the other parts.

First in foremost though, the irises need to be rendered IN FRONT of the eye whites to avoid clipping, so the iris so it can move around a lil more freely.

I have a Q2 and slapped oculess on it and it only stops it from auto-updating and can't remove all of the telemetry just some of it. I think the update to meta accounts is going to break it because dev accounts are getting killed along with facebook accounts and all getting migrated to meta accounts on the 1st. I eventually caved and made the accounts and turned off it doing anything in the settings for them and just use the official link software and it just works. I don't think it's the best move for everyone but it is very (obviously) retard-tier easy to do versus other setups.

The cinematography in particular seems to be nonexistent in the shot composition and the editing. For example, this static shot lasts about a full second in what appears to be an action scene, with no focus on anything in particular. The handshake at the end of the trailer has the same kind of issue. I feel like a camera was pointed roughly in the direction of the actors and that was that.

After playing both extensively I can say it's hard to compare. There aren't CoD-like twitchy shooters in vr. The closest you'll get is probably contractors which imo is a bad game. As for high movement based shooters like quake they closest is probably hyperdash. Hyperdash is good and populated but the moment it stopped being f2p it died for vrg for some reason. I think it's going f2p again soon so maybe we'll pick it back up.
VR games and flat games have different priorities for what makes them shit games or irritating to play. Down time is especially terrible in vr and a lack of interactivity is extremely noticeable. If you have to rummage through menus in vr, it's pretty much automatically a shit game. Immersion and emergent gameplay/interactions is king in vr. Like other anon said though, vr games are just smaller in scope.

There's obviously a timezone issue if the only person who can record are from NA.
A solution to this would be getting a guy from EU that would be a point of contact for recording purposes.
The storyboarding can all be done during the main person's time (NA) but recording can be done for both (NA) and (EU) via different recorders.
