I started in .12, the update when Reserve came out. Tarkov was at its absolute peak during that wipe due to being able to spreadsheet hard and flip shit after killing players. I'm in agreement with you over how they've been doing nothing besides making the game worse to combat RMT, I only put in like 100 raids this wipe before calling it quits. That being said, it's not hard to memorize a list of 10-15 items and keep them in mind as you loot things, you starting to lose your memory gramps?

It's also not hard to only be able to shoot after doing a 360 spin, but that doesn't make it good game design either, anon. If you're adding something, it should actually serve a purpose since you're devoting dev time to implementing that could be spent on something useful, even setting aside the extra burden it adds on the players. Keeping in mind the super valuable stuff is one thing, but it's much more annoying when comparing marginal items that you end up filling your backpack with, and while the price difference between them is a negligible amount in absolute terms, it's still more then enough to be annoying when you get out of the raid and realize you lost 10k for no reason beyond not staring at the flea market long enough to remember if two pieces of duct tape is worth more then a water hose.

Listen man, that's just the flea in a nutshell. Supply and demand fluctuate constantly, which made things more fun in my opinion. Sometimes item X would be worth more than item Y or item Z, so you'd have to change up your mental plan of which items to prioritize. That being said, I can see why this isn't fun, and I believe they've done nothing but streamline the gameplay such that the only profitable thing to do is play like a retard rat and scoop up all the low-weight-high-value items. This is not fun gameplay, the weight changes were a fucking mistake and I miss the old Tarkov. Despite the glaring issues with Tabor, I can still derive enjoyment out of it by gunning down quest kids.

You need to hold your hand far away from the object you want and grab when you see the G appear on the object you want. If your meds are hard to get, that is a skill issue of not putting them in your bag in a sane location. I always seperate my meds from everything else in my bag and have them near the edges so I can access them quickly.

It's a modpack launcher and manager for games, mostly Bethesda games like Skyrim. Someone made a VR essentials modpack, and the mods in it turn Skyrim VR from a janky VR tech demo into a fully functional and FUN game in VR.
I say "game in VR" because it's actually a proper game at that point rather than a "VR game" early access tech demo.
It's basically a one click install which is much better than fucking around with manually installing shit through Mod Organizer 2 (though I prefer messing around with my own installs).

Yes, I would say that mods have a bigger impact on bows and magic than on melee honestly.
The VR Essentials modpack has a few things included that make bows just feel fucking fantastic to use, such as having to grab an arrow from your quiver instead of just spamfiring.
Magic is a whole other beast, there's Spellsiphon which turns magic from a menu-fest with fast magicka depletion into a whole immersive system using just your hands creatively. Your main hand gets the Siphon spell which siphons energy from the environment (fire), living creatures (lightning), or dead creatures (frost). You can just straight up shoot these at enemies for damage, or combine a lot of these effects for interesting things to happen, such as siphoning lifeforce and shooting it back into a corpse (which raises them as a temporary allied zombie).
Your offhand is a shield that uses stamina to block hits. You can parry and block with it. When it runs out (or if you use Siphon on your shield), it turns into a healing spell instead.
And that's not even getting into the more advanced stuff, like summoning bound weapons and imbuing them with elemental energy. Feels good to conjure 2 daggers, literally throw them at enemies and have them explode in massive fireballs as I draw my bow to slowmo shoot their flying bodies midair.

Then there's MageVR which is more of an "interface" into the magic system by using gestures and drawn symbols to cast spells. I feel like a firebender when I wildly gesture and proceed to shoot fireballs out of my hands.

There's mods that let you use voice commands to do shouts or switch spells/gear without menu'ing.

Overall I give melee with mods a 6/10, bows 9/10, spells 10/10. Sorry for the spergy wall of text but I fucking love this game and everyone should play it with mods.

Another one for the 'bagged my weapon' compilation. I need to muscle memory keeping my primary AWAY from my backpack at all times.

PSA: You can glitch into the wall near the elevator/ladder and basically shoot people from outside the map invisibly. Avoid the area if kitted up.

Kinda hard to see but this is a textbook prison spawn: Tranny trench, beach prison, and hill prison are spawns where the most effective tactic is to run to the hill with the rock on it and kill players from the other two prison spawns. In this we spawned tranny trench, yeeted for the hill then met the hill prison spawn guys at like 80 metres in the distance. They got popped, then continuing to look around I saw the beach spawn at the tranny trench boxes and popped them. After that, the other nearest spawn is I think garage and church. Better players use those spawns to hit research first so it's usually safe to start looting guard tower and the cells, and using the scavs you left lying around as early warning for retards coming from elsewhere.

Depends on the outfit but if you want to have a body under it, it'll be a lot harder.
You can take a different body that the outfit is made for with the outfit attached and use the f grab tool in sculpt mode to make the body under it vaguely resemble your original body. Then it's just a case of using the outfit's armature instead of your own. Like a headswap and sculpt/proportional edit job. Otherwise if you want to maintain your original body you can sculpt the outfit to match and then potentially have to do some weight painting to prevent clipping. If you're lucky and the two armatures roughly match, you can use pose mode to get the outfit's armature to match your body's armature, and then use sculpt mode to expand/contract around parts to stop it from clipping. Joining armatures and meshes together isn't terrible hard, you just have to have the vertex groups and bones named the same so the bones move the right verts.
For a first timer it can be quite overwhelming as there's a lot of different ways to do it and a lot of tools you don't know about. The job itself isn't terribly hard though I'd recommend getting someone to talk you through it.
