Absolute SLOP that I bought during the pirates vs. ninja fest. There is an insane amount of ninja VR slop out there, and even some VR sea of thieves clones that are all fully dead (I skipped those).
Right now Karakuri Kengeki is left on my todo list. I already played Sairento which is actually pretty good for a 2018 asset flip.
>>467106650
Sushi Ben seemed like it was gonna be really fun but I got what felt like an hour or two in and there was nothing much to do, not sure if the start is just super slow and then gets better or what but I stopped playing before i could find out

You will get kicked, not only from the instance, but by everyone in full body tracking if you show up looking like this.
You're not gonna get kicked for wearing that (usually), but you will genuinely face problems and scorn if you show up in an avatar that looks like that if it is even the slightest bit sexualized. Just sayin'
And if you find yourself not scorned, you are probably in the company of people that you don't want to be with

>>467155857
Sure, but if you want a far cheaper entry point, a new Quest 2 is ~250 bucks and the only thing you're giving up is eye and face tracking plus the ability to track your hands behind your head, all of which are currently largely meme features.
>>467156445
And QP is not "Just works" headsets.
Neither are controllers.
>>467155857
buying any headset right now is a bad idea. Do not get into VR unless you enjoy compromise and disappointment.

>>467156639
>And QP is not "Just works" headset
>Neither are controllers.
Can confirm. It's a great headset/controllers when it works but it almost never "just works", especially when you start adding full body trackers, they seem to just have lots of interference issues with each other.

These are straight up wrong.
Batteries are non-issue.
Audio, I give you.
Wire still makes index an unacceptable headset. You buy a vr headset to move, not to seat with it.
The game designed has suffered enough of leashcuck tyranny.

>no tracking without light
>loose tracking of hands when grabbing a backpack
>no fingertracking
>no additional configurable utility input AKA touchpads
>qpro controllers which were supposed to alleviate the camera tracking issues overheat, loose synchro and are overall pain in the ass
yea, totally not worse tracking.
>need to do the same as index (render the frame, send, over the wire, then decode, and send it over internal eDP to screens)
at best scenario wireless headsets can match wired delay, at worst they have deocding, reprojection, internal DP connection which induces 1-3 frames more delay.
Wire doesn't stop you from moving at all. Wire is as much an issue as fanny pack with batteries at most.
Also compression cucks have no say about VR video, you never seen an uncompressed VR signal at all, you wouldn't ever understand.
But my point stands. There is no "no compromise, straight upgrade" from Index. You gain some and you loose some.

>>467160148

Well I bought Requisition VR cuz it went on sale for 66% off and gotta say it is rather disappointing.
I feel like you could kinda directly compare it to boneworks little horde mode. You just get crafting instead of like good interaction with enemies.
The best way i can explain is that boneworks it feels like everything exists in that 3d space with how your melee, enemies, and yourself interact with each other and the environment.
In requisition zombies will do a sudden burst of speed when they get close to your and flail at you hitting some massive hit box around you. While in boneworks they really gotta be up in your shit grabbing you in order to deal damage.
You swing an axe at their head they either get decapitated instantly, do some little canned animation, or ignore it completely. Which just feels way worse than boneworks where it really feels like you are swinging through them with how they react to it.
Finally I decided to type this up cuz I fell through the fucking floor with no ability to unstuck myself cuz my other hand got stuck elsewhere so I couldn't access the menu on the watch.
5/10 pretty mediocre cuz I like some ideas but the core just doesn't feel satisfying maybe it's more fun with others

When?
EU - 19:00 UTC (London)

4) GROUP PHOTO 2
5) Public raid with our FUMOS

>Quest Pro controllers overheat even without using them .
They do overheat when they lay flat ie. im using HOTAS/Steering wheel instead - i assume its either my controler grips or they just use hands for heat dissipation.
Never had them overheat when in actual use though.
The OS is kind of shit i agree though pico's was even worse
>>467214895
>They do overheat when they lay flat
Oh that must be it. I play VRC with Index controllers instead so I constantly get that message.
Another graveyard...
>>467214975
If you're not using them have you tried just unpairing them completely? using handtracking just to boot PCVR?
Ending on a non-grave related post. At least the world ID thing is working, might add some sort of world history/favorites thing tomorro
>>467215646
Handtracking doesn't work with SteamLink. This was the reply from Valve:
https://steamcommunity.com/app/353380/discussions/11/4038102696017711499/
>We added a modification to the SteamVR beta that is currently out to de-prioritize "always on" controllers, like the Quest controllers, so that they can more easily use hybrid tracking setups. We encourage users who are working with hybrid tracking setups to opt-in to the SteamVR beta.
>We evaluated hand tracking pass-through, however, we are unable to allow users to turn it off selectively within our app.
>There is an adverse impact to the rest of the headset's system for users who are not using it. We are periodically re-evaluating this, but we have decided at this time to keep it turned off.
I was thinking about AVPro competitors again.
Main ones are Meta+LG and Sams+Google. But you know the thing about google? All their phones have the source code of the android image available.
If samsung doesn't try to to put their ugly dirty gook hands on the OS, we might have a good headset for enthusiasts, all the "400gb of space just to compile android" mess aside.
Which might be the case, because everyone says sams is responsible for hardware only.
>>467215826
I saw them roasting you at the steam forums. Sounds kinda retarded. I wish there were more details, I know from the meta docs that OC modes are not available when fast-tracking is enabled, but is that really that necessary? Why can't they just show a warning if the user has hand tracking enabled in the quest settings, something like "Hand tracking enabled, experience may suffer" or something, so at least it's usable. How are they that starved on compute resources, that they MUST have OC? Doesn't make sense.
>>467216365
Google is also known for killing all their projects in short time.
I want my GNU/VR headset.
>>467216576
Google phones/tablets are alive and well. Headset is basically a phone strapped to your head.
Source code is available. There are some blobs but with enough interest everything could be reverse engineered, so we could have GNU/VR headset.
But you need big players for hardware, there is no way around it.
>>467216862
i wouldn't call anything using Exynos/Tensor as being well but you do you. and im heavily suspect that they will try to use that for their headset because muh samsung fabs
>>467217178
>i wouldn't call anything using Exynos/Tensor as being well
Can you elaborate on that? I'm a bit disgusted by android, so I really know it that deep phone side. I only know about chips used in soc devices.
>>467217464
>so I don't really know*
>>467217464
Exynos are samsung SOCs known for having inferior performance in comparison to Snapdragons while also chugging more battery and heating more
Tensors are Google's SOCs used in pixels, they're actually rebranded exynos.
Also Samsung fabs are inherently shit, Snapdragon 8Gen1 was made by them and it was overheating - so they relased 8Gen1+ which was literally the same chip but made by TSMC fabs, it performed way better.
>>467217780
Isn't that a hardware issue mostly? I was talking more about software side.
Sams's fabs can produce serviceable chips, didn't nvidia use them in the ampere gen. Yeah, they switched back to TSMC the first moment they could, but 3000seiries cards were fine honestly.

>>467233217
well first you would want a wifi6e card, not just wifi6, and unfortunately there has been quite a few issues related to using them in general, weird compatibility with motherboards. Also i believe the M.2 versions seem to work better than a normal PCIe.

Tracking accuracy is technically better on modern SLAM headsets, however Quest Pro is still the only set where your controllers aren't shit (unless you use Touch Pro with something else), that said there absolutely, undeniably is video delay. You have to encode and then decode the video stream and this takes time. Transmission of the video signal also takes time. I can notice this on every streaming headset I've used. Index just feels more responsive. Full stop. I've used multiple streaming headsets and they haven't replaced my Index yet. Cope harder.

Since St. Patty's is coming up I wanted to spark some discussion for March 15th, the closest Friday to St. Patricks.
As you may or may not know we're doing another dance hours that night, but the "spirit" of St. Patty's is as far as I understand it that we drink. Heavy drinking and then dancing is a recipe for disaster I imagine, so I had an idea in mind.
Instead of the usual 2-3H dance we do, we start off early (10-11 PM EST) and have /ourDJ/ live mix for two hours. After that, we'll enable a transition period where we gather song requests. Kind of like how we used to gather your songs back in the old days.
After the transition period is over, we enable a prerecorded mix by the DJ for the remainder of the night. If you're wondering why we're doing this, that's coming up now.
An anon pointed out last thread that in general clubs and rave worlds have a fun aesthetic but the music that autoplays usually isn't that great.
While my skills in world creating don't hold a candle against modern VRC world makers, I think I can make a decent enough club that would capture the same "vibes" with less shitty music. I don't mean for us to stay in the same world for 4H+ though, people can hop whenever but well recent trends do make us sit in a world for quite a while.
Tl;dr the world we stay in for the event isn't just for the live mixing and we can celebrate st. patty's without feeling like you "need" to dance at all times as after the first 2h its just bgm and we can put song requests back in.
Thoughts? I hesitate a little because it feels like I'm trying to keep everyone in the event world, which I don't really want either, just for the people that do want to stick around.

Oh yeah about that.
Due to the massive amount of people that attended, I honestly was very lost on how I was going to manage/herd these separate communities. I can't stress enough how moderating 141 people is hell. I simply wasn't ready enough.
The main instance that was constantly full should have been pretty clean. What you're seeing in that image is the overflow instance which to my mistake is the same instance that was also advertised here. Personally I think there should still be segregation between the two. Events that get advertised here are for the people here. Instead I'll make a separate instance for the 4ch furries who do wish to attend these and a world link won't be posted here instead. The anchors will also change for those who don't want to see furries so everyone wins.Just don't join on the haloboys then, because they clearly don't care about them.
>>467263889
The requested songs will be handled by a bot that does transitions. It's nothing fancy though, it also depends on how many song requests we get too. After that it's a prerecorded mix.
There's also been talk of doing live song requests throughdiscord and posting youtube links therebut by now you should know I prioritize thread users so your requests here go in first.

Yes, VD tuned for performance can render, encode, transmit decode a frame in 30 ms, which is arguably faster than index 40 ms, but you are also convieniently forgetting that Quest, after receiving the frame has to reproject it, copy it over eDP from GPU to displays and wait for vsync, which would induce additional 22-33 ms delay. Either post your analysis or shut the fuck up.

Not him, but depending on DP version, and render resolution it can take 7-10 ms to transmit the raw frame.

Local passthrough is very complicated actually. It builds a mesh of the space and then projects colors on it. It's not just a direct camera feed.
>>467265012
>That latency is motion to photon
Virtual desktop numbers are from rendering the frame to decoding it on the headset, you can see that in the breakdown numbers. Best I can tell, any extra latency in the total over what you see in the breakdown is from stuff VD is doing like buffered frames.
It doesn't measure the internal display latency or added latency from when controller motion happens to the point of the game receiving the input.

Wait, it wasn't 22 ms, it's way worse, it's 44 ms, that's local processing, of passthrough, which they try to do as low latency as possible

>>467267541
I read the post, and you have no proof that VD reports actual motion to photon.
But we have photon to photon latency of LOCAL processing which is atrocious 44 ms.
We know that OG Vive had 22 ms motion to photon latency in 2017, 2020, but 2022 study fucked something up and added 1-2 frames of latency for wired headsets (>inb4 nvidia vr prerendered frames setting)
22 ms motion to photon make sense, as game rendering takes up to 11 ms, and then saturaded HDMI would take around 9-10 ms to transfer the raw frame, directly to the screens.
We know that for wireless quest we have 11 ms for game to render 10-20 ms for encode/transmit/decode + up to 44 ms for local decoded frame to be processed (reprojected, copied to screen, show) + unknown time of tracking data being sent from Quest to PC.
So we can expect quest to have 43-75 ms of latency + controller polling.

But there is evidence of game render taking 11 ms, VD encode/transmission/decode taking 10-30 depending on settings/wifi and local processing of a frame taking up to 44 ms.
Adding up to whopping 85 ms of latency in worst case. and 21 in absolutely best case, with inclusion of magical instantaneous Quest GPU to display connection.

the issue with wifi streaming is wifi is not consistent, sure the best case of a quest 3 might be better than an index or whatever wired headset. But thats the best case, now shove it in reality where you have all the wifi bandwidth for streaming plus you have the bandwidth of downloading and uploading during a multiplayer game and its now a different case, then chuck in multiple users on that same wifi and its even worse. Meanwhile the index cable is always consistent, thats not changing cause youre sending player data or voip in game.

I don't trust them as much as I trust 2/3 physical measurements of OG Vive. You've never shown neither physical measurement of wireless headset latency and not even an oculus debug of one. You only shown old ass screenshot of Nvidia funhouse on Rift-S, which makes me suspect you don't even have VR.

>>467273305

It's not lower. It's higher. By ~11ms, which is consistent with time for "encoding/transfer/decoding".
Oculus debug show locked 33ms with 500mbps bitrate with usb link. It's still needs to do everything, encoding/decoding etc. I don't have a picture, because oculus debug doesn't show on screenshots, you need to make a photo through the lenses.

A picture of Oculus debug with numbers that happen to fall within the range of a different study isn't really conclusive evidence. Latency measured purely within the software shouldn't be treated like it's the same as an external measurement.
I don't trust that study for anything more than a comparison of the headsets that were all tested together.
>>467272020
Being inconsistent with other measured results is a good enough reason to question why the numbers are different. I wouldn't just throw them out, but it's enough reason to at least look at the testing methodology. For what it's worth, that study does use less accurate hardware for measurement, although not enough to account for the difference between the studies.

>>467275548
The shitty WiFi transfer implementation matters, retard. If you have to use a wire to get latency approaching the Index then you can't use wireless as a benefit of what makes the Quest better than the Index, because it's not.

Friends I assume. They're friends with some of our other australians and the more schizo types among us like K the yumineki guy and F the fun guy. These two alone have given them really good quality attention that I'd reckon they're the reason she mellowed out.
Attention seekers are like that. They seek attention because they felt neglected as a child growing up. Being able to give quality attention soothes this behavior and makes them feel more at ease.

Especially since even with USB link you still have to deal with batteries.

Your argument boils down to "we can't trust Oculus Debug anymore". Ok, yeah, I guess you can make that argument.

You considering the wire unacceptable is fine, that's your opinion and you are entitled to it. Just don't pretend like you can match the latency performance of a wired headset, when you can't.
Maybe one day eventually we will but that day is not today. Me personally the biggest obstacle is batteries. I have a hot-swap battery setup for my wireless sets and even then, the batteries last like 90 mins and I spend far too much time in VR for them to get me by. I'd rather simply deal with the wire and lower resolution and fresnel lenses because what is important to me is socializing with friends. If I am doing other things where I am not spending as much time and can easily pause then I use the Quest or Pico.
Also I listen to a lot of music in VRChat and Index audio is peak.

>>467280463
I play shit like Blade and Sorcery and H3VR just fine with an Index. It's a pretty long cable.

wired quest 3 still requires the video to be encoded so it would have that additional processing that DP headsets wouldnt need.

That's completely. Stupid people can believe in anything.

A single long cable isn't getting in my way. I can duck and dip and kick and everything with 0 issue. You're not really selling much. I can also lie down on my bed and roll around on it if I felt like it for some reason.
You're a confusing weirdo.

>Air link is very fucky, zuckfuck messed it up. But we can use usblink as a benchmark, because it still needs to do all the steps but we bypass the shitty wifi transfer implementation.
>we bypass the shitty wifi transfer implementation
>the shitty wifi transfer implementation
You already disproved it for me anon. If you're getting a whopping 7ms difference over USB you can bet your ass wireless is worse. Wireless transfer has been the highest latency of everything when I do streaming VR, sometimes in the order of 30ms or more.
>Not everyone lives in vrchat, "bro".
Neither do I, you can do both. Also the period goes inside the quotation marks, stay in school.
>Nice socializing with friend without eye/face btw. Heh.
That's a Pico 4 Pro anon. Again, I can if I want to.
As I already said, I do use my Quest for more active games where I'd actually need to spin around a lot or such, but in games where latency matters or I'm spending long stretches of time, the Index wins every time.

So the leash is actually a problem now. Curious. At least you admit in now.
>but in games where latency matters

>>467283023
kek that final second of the video is a nice touch.
But seriously though, there is a reason when I was wired I don't do that. It's a tripping hazzard and if you spin in one direction for too long the wire starts to get damaged from the tangling
>>467283014
I am sorry to be the baron of bad news, but you seem buttered, so allow me to play doubles advocate here for a moment. In an age where false morals are a diamond dozen, true virtues are a blessing in the skies. We often put our false morality on a petal stool like a bunch of pre-Madonnas, but you seem to be taking something very valuable for granite. So I ask of you to mustard up all the strength you can because it is a doggy dog world out their. Although there is some merit to what you are saying it seems like you have a huge ship on your shoulder. In your argument you seem to throw everything in but the kids Nsync, and even though you are having a feel day with this I am here to bring you back into reality, because it’s now like the pot calling the kettle cracked. I have a sick sense when it comes to these types of things. It is almost spooky, because I cannot turn a blonde eye to these glaring flaws in your rhetoric. I have zero taller ants when it comes to people spouting out hate in the name of moral righteousness. You just need to remember what comes around is all around, and when supply and command fails you will be the first to go.

>>467283023
WHAT THE FUCK YOU CAN DO THAT?
>>467282187
Nothing is wrong with my setup, Latency depends heavily on the resolution of video being transmitted. The worst was actually with a dedicated router (PrismXR Puppis S1). If the resolution is lower and the stream isn't actively changing it can be as low as 8ms but that still puts it above the Index, and I still have to deal with lower resolution to achieve that result. Best results are actually with my main router which is in another room with everything connected to it. It's a half-decent WiFi 6 router (ASUS RT-AX3000). I doubt this is much different from an average setup.
Perhaps even more importantly, with the Index it doesn't matter what resolution I'm pushing, it is always consistent and stable, and you will literally never have that with wireless streaming.

Atm /vrg/ /vrlg/ and /vrfg/ is a thing and we have each having their own meetups and their own rulesets. it seems to be working so far to just live and let be with each instance having their own ruleset.
/vrg/ - wholesome f+ mostly VR on-topic instances
/vrlg/ - lewd invite+ instances can whip your cock out no issues while walking about

i hope bro's cable is okay
you pushed him too far
>>467297421
What about eleven spins? This is what, like 4?
The best you got? Really not so cocky anymore huh.
> I don't really care that much
No no no, please continue spinning, please continue recording the webms, please continue destroying your cable just to be a disingenuous fuck who tries to prove a point which he himself knows is wrong.

>>467262110
Me, it is me. I am the QPro controller complainer. They constantly drift and decide to be clearly offset by some distance until I hold them out in front of me for a few seconds. Had these issues across 2 different QPros so I believe it's an issue endemic to the Pro (or whatever).
>>467298034
Yeah but you can spin around like an autist at high speeds for like 2 or 3 more times in a row than an index user so the controllers are really a non-issue.
>>467298034
Have you tried wiping off the lenses on your controllers? Mine suddenly started working a lot better after.
>>467294436
Questies can't handle that index salute either. Keep winning anon
>>467298003
Yep, that makes you cringe. Exactly.
Or you can go record one. Oh, not so cocky anymore? But you were flipping everyone off so flamboyantly before, what happened?

>>467297421
>>467298651
I dunno, the Index Anon has posted 3 webms, and the Questlet has only posted one. It's kind of on the Questlet, at this point. Index Anon has proven he can spin around 23 times while flipping the camera off with both hands, and that he can spin as fast as the quest anon.
I think that the Index anon is winning unless the Quest Anon spins around 24 times at the fast speed while holding both controllers instead of leaving them on the desk like in his first webm.
>>467298174
So true breastie, gotta spin on my desk chair every now and then
>>467292907
ah shit theres the beatmap for this song. thx for reminding me.
>>467298715
>24 times at the fast speed
Jokes aside, I actually wouldn't recommend spinning that fast in vr for that long, it unironically made nauseas.
>>467298715
True. As it stands, we can only surmise that the wireless user can spin around a maximum of 11 times, and only while not using his controllers and only while in a black background that makes it harder to tell how fast he's actually going.
Hey hey people, eternally fucking late here. It's that time again. NA Exploration is up at https://vrch.at/yhppv4m2 or onASleepySnow. I am apologizing in advance for the first world being a skullfucking 600mb, the chinese are autistic and not capable of compressing textures and yet we must go on. >>467299037
I dunno, the index guy did it 23 times and he seemed fine. He even recorded another webm spinning even faster like 10 minutes later. Maybe it's a quest issue that spinning induces nausea.
Wireless chad should spin in a dryer. That'd really show the leash cucks.

Why can't you just talk about VR or the things you actually supposedly like instead of having dumb little turf wars about things like wired/wireless, furry/not furry etc?
>>467299701
Heh, wireless user ran out of batteries in his own body, what a loser.
>>467295024
Furries inherently don't respect culture, they are by nature radioactive.
Maybe you just haven't been exposed to them enough, but furries are a type of cancerous autism that are the internet equivalent of those omega poisonous frogs that come in bright flashy colors. Anyone who spent any time around furries knows to avoid them, and a furry existing anywhere invites more.
My gut instinct when I see more than 1 furry in an instance is to leave. 90% of people here do the same. It's not an inconsiderate choice I make, it is a reflex like gagging when I see crawling maggots.
For every 1 furry you let wander in you are soft exiling 5 vrg members.
Please take time to understand their nature.

As far as wired vs. wireless goes I love all my headsets but I am tired of seeing cope-posting against the Index because people want to pretend the VR market has gotten anywhere substantial in the last 5 years and justify buying something else. I wish it had but sadly Index is still just really damn good and everything you can move to at this point is, indeed, a compromise in one way or another. If you should move from Index or not and to which headset is largely dependent on what matter most to your use case.
As for furries vs. anime or coomers vs. puritans well, that largely depends on the individual people, if I'm honest. You can't really equate an actual dogfucker vs. a cartoon enjoyer or an actual pedo vs. someone who just wants to be small and cute, or someone who has their fun behind closed doors vs. someone actively disrupting goings on with their lewd shit. Just kick annoying people. Shrimple as that.
What are the wireless headsets that aren't the AVP that have a pocketable hot swappable battery?

You have garbage setup with 30ms transfer latency. Sister, what the fuck are you talking about?
>>467303149

>>467303243
If you are out of the context, just don't talk. This is just embarrassing.
sooo, deckard soon right? right?
>>467303149
My setup is just fine, if you bothered to read what I wrote. Latency that bad is situational, occurs at high resolutions (3k x3k+ usually) and during high movement. My point was that it's still going to be worse than wired most of the time, and I can boost resolution as much as I want without problem over wired as well. This also doesn't take into account the ease of use having everything under the SteamVR umbrella (playspace calibration is fucking garbage), Index having way better audio, and not having to deal with batteries.
Those last two matter to me a great deal which is why I use the Index most of the time.
Just as an example, I played Assetto a while back over the Quest 3, and while latency was fine and I didn't run into any video issues, I did blow through an entire hotswap battery and most of the Quest internal battery, and also it just really didn't sound as punchy or immersive as the Index does.
>>467303385
>praises index
>this user must be a coping wireless user

>>467304016
>Latency that bad is situational, occurs at high resolutions (3k x3k+ usually) and during high movement.
That's not how wireless streaming works. Bandwidth is constant.
> My point was that it's still going to be worse than wired most of the time
Your point is wrong, because you have a defective setup.
>>467304092

another small quality of life thing with the Index that I found annoyed me more than expected in that particular case was also the little button on the Index. If I need to quickly pop into my SteamVR menu and open the Desktop or recenter my VR view in the Index I don't need controllers, but with the Quest I have to grab a controller, and more annoyingly it *has* to be the left controller, because only the left menu button opens SteamVR.

That's absolutely how wireless streaming works. Your router still has to take data packets and route them to the correct place, and larger resolution video is more data which takes longer to process, retard.
>>467304357
>Wireless just automagically has 0 latency
retard
>>467304873
>and larger resolution video is more data which takes longer to process, retard.
Learn how digital compression works. Resolution doesn't matter, it's all about bandwidth.
You don't even know the basics but you are arguing.
So embarrassing.
>>467305295
Alright champ, try testing it then. Take a video of you running your streaming headset at 2000x2000 resolution with your VD/whatever metric panel open. Observe your network speed at rest, then swing your head around. Then do the same at like 3500x3500. Watch your transmit time spike. Then post it here and get your epic win.
>>467304016
I suppose...
It's just those fresnels man. I really despise them. I thought they were awful from the first time I put on the Index and never felt different. The QPro optics alone are enough to keep me from going back. Any other benefits are gravy and the cons just don't matter to me in comparison.
>>467305867
You are a retarded newfag who never encoded a webm in his life.
Resolution of the encoded video has no direct impact on the filesize.
>>467306047

>>467305867

>>467308530
I'm not the idiot you were arguing with, I'm someone agreeing with you that bitrate is the main thing that is important. The others are factors too but it starts with bitrate
>>467308623
It's only the bitrate. When you change the framerate you spread the bytes dedicated to one frame to multiple instead. The filesize wouldn't change.
Same with resolution, but instead of frames there are pixels.
>>467308582
Kill yourself.
>>467308779
Right, the bits are the data allotment.
>>467308582
You are trying to describe the differences between CBR and VBR.
CBR, Constant Bitrate, would push the same bitrate, regardless of what is going on. Even if its overkill for low movement, and even if it causes artifacting and pixelation at high movement.
VBR, Variable bitrate, will spike and dip based on movement, or more accurately, greater differences between frames.
These are factors with streaming videos for sure.
>>467293765
It's not fun to see disgusting avatars especially in fucking VR.
>>467309604
For wireless streaming only the CBR applies, we have a limited time before the frame needs to be presented.
>>467309705
In that case, a CBR stream would not spike like suggested above if you started to move your head like you were doing a spin benchmark.
I don't know how wireless headsets send their data, I just know video streaming
>>467309864
>In that case, a CBR stream would not spike like suggested above if you started to move your head like you were doing a spin benchmark.

That said, I'm very certain that I've done much more to battle against coomerism than you have. I also remove people for public displays of lewdness very quickly.
Anyway, no, our community could be completely flooded with coomers and I would still target the furries first.

Probably because you're a furfag apologizer and a part of the problem.
>>467315648
You are from /trash/. It's a fact.
You are a subhuman. That's all.
>>467315691
Which argument against furries also doesn't apply to fags? You've never answered that.
>This isn't a place for furries.
They are not hated for the fursuit, they are hated for doing X, Y, Z.
If the other group is doing X,Y and Z too, why they're allowed?
Do you need to have a programming uploaded to your head or can you actually think for yourself?
>>467315938
Fags are 1) less invasive than furries and 2) have traditionally been tolerated on 4chan. I gave you two arguments that don't apply to both.
It's also whataboutism. You're just trying to drag the discussion away from furries. Distracting me will not squelch my burning hatred for your ilk.
>>467315938
I guess thanks for the (You) and here's another one for (You) since you like it so much. I accept your concession.
>>467315670
I'm just saying the snout is the only difference I can see
Why do you retards keep arguing with Carl's retarded brother?
>>467316086
>1) less invasive than furries
lol?
Maybe let's open the /vrlg/ together and just look?
Do you really want associate with those creatures, but not furries?
I'm not trying to protect furries. Everyone from trash should be banned here. They have their own threads, they can live there just fine. People who like trash people can go there too. End result: everyone is happy.
For now it's looks like you don't mind furries that much, but you only want /vrlg/ to control the thread and they're in the way.
>>467316095
I know you are from there. Non-degenerates don't find disgust for trash controversial.
>>467316417
Because this is a dead thread and I am only voicing my opinions through this retarded furfaggot that is probably also representative of a couple other mentally challenged furfaggots
>>467316470
nigga the war with trashniggers was lost years ago, you'll never accomplish anything, better to just leave this place behind and let the reap what they sow
>>467316860
>no, you must be a furfaggot
Said the literal faggot from trash. You're not even denying it.
>>467316921
I will never bow down to dogs or fags. If I have to be the only straight man in /vrg/ so be it.
>>467316470
>For now it's looks like you don't mind furries that much
not sure how that was the conclusion you drew from my assertion than furries need to be kicked on sight, but more power to you
I have little interest in the trash issue, to be honest, as long as they aren't cooming in front of me. They coom in their private worlds, furries should follow their example and also stay far away from /vrg/.
>467317023
I wasn't replying to you but thanks for the (You). All this shit you keep repeating won't make you any less of a furfag or a furfag apologizer.
>>467317183
You've said before you can't imagine "the community" full of furries, but what exactly would change?
You are already accepting degenerates, they just have to "act normal". They are still disgusting subhumans inside, they are just pretending.
You've allowing the same cancer in. They don't even have any shame, "Yeah, I suck dick on /trash/, so what?". Why are you not disgusted by it I have no idea.
You are either incapable of thinking with your own head or have an agenda. I see no other options.
>>467317582
It's another alternative - I have greater understanding of the situation than you do.
And no duty to educate you :)

aka "I like degenerate fags and furries are getting in the way"
Very nice and all but how is this related to VR games?
am I the only one who thinks the arguing about furries is insanely retarded and that literally nobody actually cares except like 3 or 4 obsessed vocal minorities
