Assetto is the OP webm. Last thread had Dirt Rally. Regular races there with some really good drivers. Onward is really dead. No idea why that's still in the OP actually. It died about the same time the quest 1 came out and now just serves as an example of how bad the quest has been for vr. Contractors isn't dead but recently the regular players in /vrg/ are hybernating. Rec Room has really steep player limits for their game modes so it's rarely advertised in the thread when games are going.
VRC, golf, pavlov, tabor, and assetto are the main games played in /vrg/.

What headset? I had the same issue + giant cpu useage on Vive Pro 2, because pavlov tried to enable ALL openxr extentions and started using vive pro 2 cameras for handtracking, while getting confused.

Had to rename some folders in Vive Console OpenXR folder, to disable: handtracking, eye tracking, face tracking, scene comprehension OpenXR extentions.


But also there was an alternative solution I found first: in steam vr bindings remap grip from "index_left_grip" to "oculus_touch_left_grip".

Dave is an idiot, undone all the effort of OpenXR group to make games hardware agnostic and made Pavlov only work on some whitelisted hardware. If dave didn't expect your hardware it kinda reverts to treating it as Oculus with Touch controllers.

funny how we had the most diverse setups for this. 1 Stationary bike, 1 Stationary station thing for regular bikes, and 1 resistive pedal thing. I'd say the prefab needs some more polishing. We we're all going at different speeds and with different effort amounts. For me the regular bike, mine only has a single speed and the resistive thing on it doesn't work that much. I was also scared about pushing it too hard and it falling off(idk it seemed pretty stable after looking taking it off). The VRC station on the bike only had so many adjustments and steering felt like shit too. I want to take a crack at making it or modifying the prefab. its so close but also just a bit off.

In my case it was a face with weird geometry, unity has less tolerance for weird faces so double check it to make sure it isn't a weird compound face with more than four sides or something, and if it's a quad try triangulating it. Otherwise check the uv, and make sure legacy blend shape normals is on in the import options. You could also try changing the normals from import to calculate in the import options, to see if that changes anything, but you won't want to keep that option on even if it does end up fixing it
